I understand where you are coming from. GG and PI are imho the only creature based decks that can(but most likely will not) kill a MM player befor he has the armageddon train rolling that is MM.

I guess I just have to kiss my friends Odric, Ajani, Nefarox, Yeva, Selesnya, Boros, Simic and even my new friend Dimir goodbye if I want to enjoy playing this game.

I have found some success with PK and with SaS vs MM.

PK has to be built for speed just like a GG approach.
SaS has to have all the tricks in it and all the bounce. (this one not as much but you can win with it maybe 2 out of 10?!)

Nefarox also has rather good chances. 7 removals + worship + colour and creature protection + regeneration rings + shroud + mark of asylum

The exiling of creatures is huge too! No going and getting them back from the yard for you MM.
I guess this also gives GP a punchers chance???

In my recent experience GP runs incredibly smoothly against MM. Didn't mention it because it wasn't in the list above.

GP is great if you run all the Doomed Traveler s and Restless Apparition s because they have to be removed twice. Also, the Pillory of the Sleepless and Unmake are great against MM as well. It's a slightly favorable matchup for GP overall.

I guess if you run the 3 haste cards Nefarox maybe has a better chance.  And Nefarox's removal is great.  But, Worship doesn't seem to do much against a deck that easily removes all of your creatures, not to mention enchantments.  Color protection, creature protection and shroud does nothing against any of the sweepers and/or removal of many colors.  Regeneration is handy but MM has decent artifact removal and Child of Alara.  Mark of Asylum maybe slows MM down slightly.  The exalted mechanic is bad agaisnt a sweeper deck when it requires playing more than 1 creature at a time to be effective.

So far my results with Nefarox against MM have been pretty terrible.  I can beat the AI with it but not humans.   But I will revisit my deck build.

If you don't think ED is a good counter to MM then you're probably running a bad ED build.

ED can dish out enough damage to win before many MM builds even play anything other than land.

Perhaps I am running a bad ED build - I have shied away from an ED aggro build (though my current build has been great for me against most other decks).  And I will certainly experiment with it.

But it seems like MM has a lot of options to deal with an early ED rush.   Most (all?) of ED's early creatures are 1 toughness.  MM turn 3 options:
--Savage Twister will kill all of their creatures.
--Jund Charm ends the rush except for pro-black creatures.
--Bant Charm delays the rush one turn by removing the attacker except for a pro-white creature.
--Naya Charm delays the rush without killing a creature one turn regardless of protection, or delays the rush one turn by killing a creature without pro-white.

Some of those may not be actual turn 3 options due to mana issues - but if we assume a turn 3 Cultivate, then all of the above is available on turn 4, in addition to Day of Judgement and Lavalanche.  And potentially Pernicious Deed, if cast on turn 3.

MM has more cards to deal with ED aggro decks than every other deck.  The fact that BoF completlely owns ED aggro decks with fewer options makes me skeptical that MM fares worse.   MM has potential mana issues, and ED Vindicates can make those worse.  But MM is just as likely to Vindicate ED lands and color screw them, especially with the dual white mana cost in ED's 2 best creatures.

In my opinion  a aggro ED is really bad. It can be shut down by a single unsommon or searing spear so my ED is more a control build. And what is ED's removal gonna do against 2 prophetic bolts, Lavalanche, Empyrial Archangel, Magister Spinx's 10 damage, Child of Alara or Broodmate Dragon which you have to 2 for 1. I think ED has a really bad matchup MM.

Yeva may have a OK chance against MM but really since when is Yeva able to win before turn 5(without the nuts overrun draw) because on turn 5 you will most likely be facing one of MM's 7 drops that you probably can't handle or at least have to remove that turn. And let's not even begin to talk about what MM can drop on turn 6 most of the times..

I agree that PK can be fast enough to win against MM but IMHO not whit only 1 or 2 creatures on the board. You won't be doing enough damage before the doomsday turn 5/6 comes.

SAS is way to slow to play against MM. MM also has a lot of ways to deal with your biggest threats Fable and Skswallower. Also you become dangerous turn 7 whereas MM becomes dangerous turn 5 most of the times.

I stand by what I said that Odric, Ajani, Nefarox, Yeva, Selesnya, Boros, Simic and Dimir will all get destroyed against a opponent off reasonable skill. Whit offcourse the exception off godhans VS weak hands.

p.s. Yes Dimir is my friend. I like making my opponents sad when I discard their cards and drawing a bunch myself. Also Ghastlord is just so much fun he says: Hey give me your hand! Ok your are not playing that card sir. And he even says it every turn.
