Legacy mode in which you can play with any decks youve paid for from any previous title.
Context sensitive timers, if I have to discard 34 cards because for forced fruition then I damn well better have more than 30 seconds to do so.
Bring back themed tables from duels 09. Seriously the gfx engine should be near identical.
Ability to manually set the amount of land in each deck. Theres no reason that multi color decks should be absolutely forced into taking fetch lands because the game shorts you otherwise.
Support for android platform. ×D
The iPhone is perfect for people who want an easy to use, multifunction device.
Android is a little more user intensive, but can do anything that iOS can do.
DoTP developers, give us Duels 2014 on Android! My nexus 7/Galaxy Note 2 is easily capable of handling it if my 4 year old gateway laptop can.

How about a better matchmaking system? The way a typical night looks for me right now is the following:
1. Search for a game. 2. Join a person. 3. Sit there for 15 seconds, wondering if the guy is selecting a deck, or just an a-hole who's away from computer (true most of the time) 4. Try joining another game, only to be kicked back into the main screen, saying 'Cannot join game'. 5. Repeat a number of times until there are no new people to join. 6. Create my own lobby. 7. Wait for 2 mintues with nobody joining. 8. Exit the game and start searching again only to find 10 other people started their own lobbies. 9. Go back to 1 and repeat the cycle.
Seriously - I'm sure a better system can be devised.
This x100. It's the most annoying system ever. Sometimes it takes me 10 minutes just to play a game.
The most simple way:
- Choose your decks. - Queue for 2HG (for e.g.). - Play.
Stop with the hosting system, unless you want to play with friends.
I totally agree they really need to fix this system. I am also sick of waiting for people who have an empty private slot when I join games. They should make it lot most other Steam games, where you create a game with people from your "friends list" and it doesn't create the game until they join.

Oh, how could I forget the iffy pausing mechanism when playing online? It seems 1 out of 6 games where I'm not hosting I end up saying "ahhh effing game wouldn't let me pause" when trying to play a crucial instant.. and I typically play off of very strong connections.
I know how real-time game netcode works, and it shouldn't be the issue that it is. Granted, the engine may have been built in such a screwed-up way to make it difficult when it shouldn't be.. like if, for instance, the entire single-player engine was built and then net play grafted on, then I can see why it might be more difficult than if you built the engine correctly for online play from the ground up. But still.. it *can* be written correctly.. this isn't friggin Battlefield.

You'd think lag would never be relevant in a freaking card game .

Ah yes.....the timer situation. I feel they should just remove timers and add a "timed game" option that includes timers (preferably at double whatever the current one is.) I don't have faith in stainless to get context sensitive anything right, so I'd rather just ditch timers in general, or add much longer ones if you don't want to risk running into the loser that just pauses till you leave.

Let me adjust my own land!! Seriously in Mindstorms, it had 10 mountains and 11 islands. I added Sphinx of Magosi (3uuu) to the deck (putting it at 61 cards), and it changed the mana to 12 mountains and 9 islands. WHAT?!
I think I've figured out why it does that, FWIW. Seems to me hybrid mana costs lean towards whichever colour is lesser out of non-hybrid costs. You adding UUU probably tipped the balance from Red being more dominant to Blue being more dominant, so now it's counting all hybrid costs as R instead of U, thus tipping the land balance towards Red.
At least that's my guess - what it SHOULD be doing, if we don't get full land control is to count hybrid as equal in both colours and only balance out land for non-hybrid symbols (with a little extra weight on two and three drops for importance - it's very possible to build SS with a largely Black mana base, but chock full of double Green at three mana - Green should get the nod there because of how important it is to have double early.) This is only good for two-colour decks, though. Hybrid mana in decks with three or more colours would need different weighting.
This does seem to make sense. Very aggravating though.
Also, yes, the timer. I have to pop fetch lands on my turn instead of eot on their turn. Irritating.

A simple one that for some reason I always forget to bring up in these threads..
Make "Concede" NOT kick you from the lobby!
Especially in a game that now contains land denial and infinite turns as win conditions, often you just want to accept a loss early but replay the same person. Or even sometimes when you don't get more than 1 land and you've mulliganed down to 3 cards. Regardless of the reason, I'm not sure why "Concede" is tied to "Leave Lobby".. in the rare cases that is what's happening, it only requires one extra click.

Improvement of the system time Let every action is given two or three times longer than normal if the players are only players with a private place, or AI. Because that's played only friends and there is no problem if one of them will be thinking more than usual and play for time. Because novices sometimes do not have time to think about a turn due to lack of experience. I apologize for the Google translation.
