Go now. Go to the Gatherer, and search Limited Edition: Alpha. Take a good hard look at those monowhite designs. When you come back, you should have a better understanding of what White is supposed to embody (pure good, holiness). If you don't, your problem is likely just more comprehensive than simply misunderstanding.
Wrath of God - Jihad - Crusade
If "Holocaust" were a card, it would be White. (Appologies to all this offends, to make this point fragily as possible would miss the point.)

Wrath of God is supposed to be symbolic of destroying evil only. Its operation is just more open source, destroying everything instead because the symoblism was intended, and therefore it wasn't strictly enforced within the operation (like Mass Calcify ; which secretly stands for "Mass Classify"; as in, to classify the races in ascending order). Now, Armageddon actually represents destroying the whole world in the event the entire world is corrupted. No one wants to argue with any of you, I don't think you'll ever see that you've been wrong all this time. And if you do, you're likely too proud to admit it.

Tivadar's Crusade comes to mind. To be fair, goblins are pretty nasty dudes, but that artwork is kind of unsettling.

on topic, glad to see cheap extort creatures. Stopped going to FNM to save up for GTC prerelease. Planning on playing Dimir every chance I get.

It's alright I suppose, but far from Constructed playable. I like the flavor text though, and the name is kinda edgy, which me likey.

Most damning, however: Mass Calcify (Not because of the color -- but because it kills the SQUIRRELS. ALL OF THEM.) Plague Wind doesn't kill it's own at the very least. Defang makes me cringe, every single time.

Destroy all creatures you don't control ('cause "your stuff" is good) is Black ('cause it's selfish): Plague Wind .
White is indiscriminate about its sweepers: It will blow the wall away in order to stop the block spot from spreading, and so too will wipe the board to stop one creature. It cares not that that druid it nuked by the side of the road was cultivating that grove for the good of his family, or that those soldiers being destroyed were fighting for money to feed theirs. It takes them all, and "lets God sort them out." White is ALOS the color of healers, but this is something it shares with Green; it is the color of exchanges, and balance, but will sacrifice (read, "destroy") where it sees fit to accomplish the larger goal. White will trod on the lives and souls of the few to accomplish the needs of the many. Instead of Spock volunteering to activate the reactor, it's White throwing Spock into the reactor room because that will save the ship. Children of Korlis is sacrificed to gain their controller life lost, the greater good for the greater number.
