Meh. Pretty Dry. Could be Wetter.
Indeed. Quite disappointing considering she's a merfolk.
Also, to people saying it'll be a constructed staple, bear in mind that this has to fight with Sphinx's Revelation . And revelation has instant speed, gives you life, and still works even if you have no board presense.

Okay, here is the clincher. I've been waiting to say this.
The "cam girl" this was inspired by was just a girl from a social networking website, Stickam. Her name was TinyTerror and she was just a regular girl who was on her webcam, totally unrelated to any type of adult content.
I hope you all feel really smart now.
This is like someone coming into class with a bloody nose and everyone's like "Jeez what happened to you" and they're like "I ran into a wall" and everyone laughs at them for being an idiot but then at the end of the class they say "HAHA JUST KIDDING I PUNCHED MYSELF IN THE FACE!!!!!! TALK ABOUT OWNED HAHAHAHAHA"
I really enjoy imagining this from Kevin's perspective. Because in Kevin's world, Rosewater actually reads everything he types. Mark is sitting there right now, reading this, and thinking "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled. . ." Or some such. He chuckles low, then clicks on "The Best Of KEVINSET" and says "Yes, this'll do just fine. A busty lady with banding who deals direct damage to Zones!? Why this will be the star of my next set, and no one will ever believe you Kevin." Then he closes his Macbook, so his servant may move it out of the way, while another servant puts a Fetal Richard Garfield Clone lathered in Steak Sauce in front of him. Then Mark Feasts.
Sorin walked into the chamber where his newly wed bride, Vampy, awaited. A beam of moonlight illuminated his brilliant silver hair as he strode with confidence towards the bed. His shirtless body showcased his powerful abdominal muscles and he was wearing jeans with holes in the knees.
I wish more girls play magic cards...
Have you considered assassinating Kevin?

Zameck Guildmage , Yeva, Nature's Herald , Thragtusk , Rancor ... It's pretty easy to build around her right now.
WotC doesn't care about flavor. Their forum is the only place where an ORC can kill a troll...

Sphinxes Revelation does all those things, true enough. This card is not as good as Sphinxes Revelation, but considering how insane Revelation is, that's not really an indictment on its power level.
This needs a green deck that dumps a lot of creatures out. We'll see if that exists. The fact that it plays so insanely well with Thragtusk is a pretty good start though.

Card seems fine with all the blink effects in standard.
Even if you get stuck playing this on an empty board, if you then draw a resto angel, you get to draw 4. If you draw a deadeye navigator you get to draw 6.
Cats land on their feet. Toast lands peanut butter side down. A cat with toast strapped to its back will hover above the ground in a state of quantum indecision.

If you draw a deadeye navigator you get to draw 6.
And 6 more for every 2 mana you spend. At instant speed. With counter backup.
This card is starting to scare me.
Next thing you will tell me Browbeat is bad.

Did someone ask for creatures with power higher than their CMC?
Didn't we just do something called transform?
Orzel, Halfelven son of Zel, Mystic Ranger, Bane to Dragons, Death to Undeath, Killer of Abyssals, King of the Wilds.

I really like the card, don't get me wrong, but the horror of playing this as a 6 mana elvish visionary will probably keep this card in EDH for me.
Don't be too smart to have fun

Don't forget Wolfir Silverheart, which will net you a sweet 9 cards if you pair it with her.
Yet ANOTHER great mana-curve hit.

Yet ANOTHER great mana-curve hit.
With Silverheart, pairing Zegana yields 1 (base power) + 8 (power of highest creature) + 4 (soulbond boost) = 13 cards, not 9.
And there is a point at which drawing so many cards becomes detrimental. Of course, that can be amended with singleton Mystic Retrieval + Psychic Spiral .
Standard Pauper! (play it on MTGO)
