what if my library has no mana left? I lose?

No. There is no way for other players to know that anyway, so there would be no way to enforce it.
You lose when you try to draw a card from an empty library.
Also, your library can't have mana in it. It can have lands, which are completely different.

Mana is the currency that you use to cast spells/activate abilites/pay costs, etc. Lands produce mana. So does Birds of Paradise  or Mox jet

basically, yes Forest  is a land, tapping that forest for  generates mana
