Pyroconvergence only triggers when you cast a multicolored spell. Activating an ability of a multicolored card or permanent will not work. If someone steals one of your permanents with something like Mind Control , he does not have to pay the mana cost of the permanent he stole. The permanent doesn't re-enter the battlefield either, so any "enters the battlefield" abilities it might have will not trigger when another player gains control of it.

Pyroconvergence will not trigger off of abilities being activated. It will only trigger off of spells being cast.

1. Pyroconvergence only triggers when you cast a multicolored spell. It will not trigger off of abilities from mutlicolored sources. 2. No. If they're using something like Mind Control they just gain control of the creature. It moves from your side of the battlefield under your control to their side of the battlefield under their control. Besides paying the cost to cast the Control, they do not have to pay any other costs for that creature. Note that since the creature did not leave the battlefield, leave the battlefield and enter the battlefield abilities will not trigger, but since they did not control the creature since the start of their most recent turn, the creature will be affected by "summoning sickness" again and won't be able to attack or use abilities with the tap symbol until their next turn.

If the creature has haste, or they have some way of giving the creature haste, then it will not be affected by "summoning sickness" and they will be able to attack with it or use abilities with the tap symbol that turn.
