4/4 or better for 4. Also, does no one who posts here ever play limited? Sure doesn't seem like it. In any case, this is an obviously strong card in limited. I don't think it's good enough to see play in other formats though; I'm trying to imagine how this would play in Commander, but I have a feeling that it would die before it did anything really useful.
Well, it's not really all that interesting to evaluate rares in limited, given that they are, uh, rare.
I don't think this is Constructed playable, at least for the moment.

This is another candidate for that Infernal Plunge combo I mentioned in the Burning-Tree Emissary topic; you can play this turn two if you first play the Emissary then sac it to Plunge using the one red mana it adds. Add a mana dork such as Arbor Elf and you can even Rancor it.
Since this creature needs to attack to grow bigger and grows at a faster rate based on the number of attacking creatures, it's perfect for Gruul and Boros decks.
