Its playability then will rely on what else is in the format at this slot.
It needs Haste and will be competing with Hellrider  and Huntmaster of the Fells  in my Gruul deck. That's a bummer because i really liked this artwork when it was spoiled. Maybe play it as a one of for kicks haha. Also the closest guy in the picture looks like a Vulshok.

I have been looking for a deck to abuse Champion of Lambholt and Descendents Path  since Ascension.
And yeah, Burning Tree Emissary will make this a turn 2 4/4 that gets bigger each time it attacks. The more I look at the Gruul cards the more uses I am finding for Emissary.

How would you get this out turn 2 sans something like Infernal Plunge  ?

She's a turn 3 4/4 that gets bigger each time she attacks, actually. Still, a good option. Jund  , anyone?

The best part about this card is that it isn't gonna be expensive. I can easily get a playset for not much! (Right? I think so at least...)
In casual games, this is gonna be soooo good (and...a removal magnet :D)
