I fail to see how this is bad. Choose 3 different creatures that you would want to get to your hand, and you randomly get one of them for 2 mana? And it is free if you get out Emissary that same turn? A tutor is a tutor, and the fact that it is cheap is even better.
Gruul should be running a lot of creatures anyway, so this just helps them out a bit.
Its not bad, but it doesn't compare well with Eladamri's Call . Of course, in limited with Bloodrush this could be good, but at some point in the game it becomes a dead card (the point at which you don't have three relevant creatures in your remaining library).
The fact that it doesn't put the other two creatures in the graveyard I think actually stifles its constructed playability, but I've no doubt that Jund decks will run this.
I would like it as an uncommon.
Oh wow, Eladamri's Call is insane. Never seen it before (started in Ravnica but played on and off since then) but even so, I am not surprised that g/w got a card like that. Taking into consideration this is g/r, a 2 mana instant tutor is pretty nice, even with its limitations.
Depending on how many different creatures you run, you should be okay. In limited this card is crazy, but then again all tutors are. In constructed, Jund will run it, as will Gruul variants. Hell, I might throw it into werewolves. They need a search card and this one fits them well.
Don't assume I have read any response you might have made directed toward me in a thread or post. The best method to contact me is Private Message as I will always check there upon logging on

I wouldn't call it crazy in limited. In sealed your options are limited. So there's no telling how many creatures are worth fetching at the time you draw it. In some cases another creature would be more valuable

Eh, for 2 cost it'd be worth running in limited methinks. Granted, as you said your options are limited but if you're low on playables it can certainly help out to fetch something worthwhile. In the late game, it's not a terrible card to fetch out your bruisers, given that you're only likely to have a couple to begin with. I know a few games where I would have enjoyed a drawing this so I could pull out either Risen Sanctuary , Wayfaring Temple , or something similar to get the bigg winner as I simply wasn't drawing into them.
Even if one of your options was something like Golgari Long-Legs it can change the game a bit in your favor. Essentially you're trading a 2-drop creature to tutor for something more game-changing. Never replace a guildmage with it, but could find a home. Basically, if you have at least 3 things that are good enough fetch into, it could be useful
That said, it's not going to dominate limited in any way and only borders on the slightly above playable line.
This is a pretty decent card. It only sucks that it was placed in the two colors that support ramp and thus neither really has a need for it when they could just Farseek , or some reasonable facsimile there of.
