nah beast within is really good, it can destroy anything and a 3/3 isn't much of a threat in EDH

Is doomgape worth taking out?  I love its life gain and sacrifing it with Jarad to deal 10 damage to each opponent is hilarious, but is it a bit too cute for this deck?

I don't see why he would be "too cute". He serves a purpose. Why do you ask? Have you been having issues with him in games??  I personally think he fits well because after the 1st time Jarad hits for 7+ global life loss, I would think you would need all the life he can provide when everyone starts trying to focus you out of the game.

Idk, 7 mana is kind of a lot for my deck because of my low land count and on some other forums people were mentioning how doomgape wasn't worth it, but I personally like the card.

During playtesting I feel like golgari thug and greater mossdog are a little bit weak because you like the milling, but you almost never want to draw the actual cards.  Also I'm really considering adding deathrite shaman , I know this has already been discussed, but being a solid one-drop he really entices me.

Made a few edits, took out golgari thug for deathrite shaman because the thug was only used for its recursion effect, but I already had enough recursion effects.  Next I removed vigor mortis for stitch together because stitch will almost always be able to do the same effect for half the CMC. (except the +1/+1 counter of course)  Lastly I removed buried alive for bonehoard .  I really like  buried alive though and I might try to find another slot for it once again.
