Alright, for the pass few weeks I have been trying to win first at FNM, always coming in second or third so I'm not to far off. So I am wanting to make a deck that can work with the fewest mana possible, by that, I mean, I want to be able to if I have to, work off 1 mana and still pull off a 3 drop. That's worse possible scenario. The meta at my local FNM changes, one week someone will be using U/W control, next week, G/R/B agro.

So I came up with this, let me know how it looks.

1 Drop:
x4 Avacyn's Pilgrim
x4 Arbor Elf
x4 Rancor
x4 Dryad Militant

2 Drop:
x4 Strangleroot Geist
x4 Selesnya Charm

3 Drop:
x4 Silverblade Paladin
x4 Loxodon Smiter
x4 Oblivion Ring

6 Drop:
x2 Revenge of the Hunted
x2 Collective Blessing

I want to use Predator Ooze , Wolfir Avenger , and Restoration Angel But I don't know where to find room. Help?

-4 Dryad Militant
-1 Oblivion Ring
-2 Revenge of the Hunted
-2 Collective Blessing

I wouldn't recommend any Oozes, the little Wolfir doesn't suck but there must be a reason he doesn't get any love like his big brother, Wolfir Silverheart .

Sublime Archangel is the indicated card but she comes with a burdensome price tag.

Call of the Conclave is pretty good here. Thalia, Guardian of Thraben is also a staple of this deck type.

One or two five-drops are not a bad idea, but no more. In addition to Silverheart, Sigarda, Host of Herons is worth consideration.

Restoration Angel is not the aggro card Sublime is. Flicker is basically a trick as is flash. Both are good tricks but the point is, they are primarily defensive in nature which makes Resto better suited to a reactive strategy. Thragtusk is a good companion piece. This is more of a mid-range deck and plays a slightly higher curve.

Drop  collective blessing, revenge of the hunted, militant dryad and o. rings.  Trample is a key component of this deck, so you will want to run 3 or 4 rancor.  Also, a lot of your creatures are high value creatures on the boarx, so you want to run 2faiths shield minimum.  They are like a counter for spot removal or help push your creatures through for more damage.  One of my fav play with gw deck is turn one land and elf/pilgrim.  Turn 2 land and another elf or pilgrim.  Turn three land and cast wolfir silverheart.  Turn 4 kand and cast silverblade paladin, soulbonding to wolfir.  No wv you have an 8/8 and a 6/6 double stirkers.  Cast rancor on your wolfir and swing for 20 trample on turn 4.  Love it.

Okay I have taken it to this.
x4 Avacyn's Pilgrim
x4 Arbor Elf
x4 Rancor
x4 Strangleroot Geist
x4 Selesnya Charm
x4 Loxodon Smiter
x4 Silverblade Paladin
x4 Oblivion Ring
x4 Midnight Haunting
x2 Predator Ooze
x2 Revenge of the Hunted

Land:
x4 Sunpetal Grove
x4 Temple Garden
x2 Gavony Township
x5 Plains
x5 Forest

Sideboard:
x4 Restoation Angel
x1 Sublime Archangel I wish I had more..
x2 Collective Blessing
x2 Terminus
x1 Trostani
x2 Moonsilver Spear
x2 Safe Passage
x1 Rest In Peace

So far it can go from agro to mid-range if need be.

I've found that 6x mana elves is about ideal. But, you will still need 22 or 23 lands. This looks like a more aggressive deck. Sublime Archange should be in the mainboard. Without her the Midnight Haunting does not make any sense, and with just 1x of her, they probably still don't make sense (unless I'm missing their purpose).

I've been running into a lot of people running Thundermaw, so I don't have to worry about flying, Midnight haunting is to chumpblock thundermaw, I normally don't have to worry about fliers because of them. Only time I will mainboard Sublime right now until I get more is when I need to go more mid-range.

Including a card that runs against the design of your deck to deal with a single specific card does not seem a good strategy. If your meta really happens to be Thundermaw Hellkite heavy, then include something to deal with him in your Sideboard. Or use your Selesnya Charm to exile him.
