Wow, we need the last few creatures but they don't seem to be coming this way... By the way, has anyone tried Havoc Festival ? I haven't... But it looks like it might achieve something in a deck with some burn spells such as ours. When you cast Havoc Festival with an Explosive Impact or Annihilating Fire in your hand, the life-halving hardly affects you - unless the opponent also has burn. First of all, if the opponent is at 10 life (or 11 life), obviously you can pass the turn to drop the opponent to 5, then try to burn out the opponent with Explosive Impact on your next turn's upkeep. But even if the opponent is at 20 life, it's not so different. You can pass the turn (opponent at 10 life). The opponent can attack you hard on his/her turn but it won't matter unless it's lethal. On your upkeep, your life gets halved but halving your life doesn't kill you (unless you're at 1). Then, on the opponent's upkeep, s/he drops to 5 life and you can burn the opponent out before s/he gets to attack. If you're holding Annihilating Fire instead of Explosive Impact, you can still do the same thing except the opponent needs to be at 15 life when you cast Havoc Festival. The opponent's life drops 15->7->3 with just two upkeeps. Your life gets halved once during the process, but it shouldn't matter because halving your life doesn't kill you, and if your burn resolves, you won't have to get attacked after your life total is halved. This assumes the opponent isn't running counterspells like Dispel , and that the opponent doesn't have his or her own burn spells. So it won't always work this way. But now that I think about it, it does seems powerful.

Cremate for me. At least it is a cycler and we need spells!

Hmm... I guess I'll go with the Vermin. I could easily see grabbing Eyes or Cremate though.

I'll pick Drainpipe Vermin , we need creatures. I'm also disappointed in us this draft. The last RTR draft I would have thought we'd have a decent deck, this one is really questionable.
bulletd Guidelines: 5.0: I will take this card no matter what. Creature 1 or playable 1 or hate 1. Domri Rade 4.5: Bomb and splashable. Creature 1-2, playable 1-2, removal 1. Obzedat, Ghost Council 4.0: Excellent first pick first pack, will sway me into same colors. Creatures 1-4, removal 1. Rubblehulk 3.5: Excellent first pack pick two, will confirm colors or possibly sway into second color. Ground Assault 3.0: Good in-color addition, or splashable removal/creature. Creatures 3-9, removal 1-3. Kingpin's Pet 2.5: Solid pick in-color; creatures 5-12, removal 3-5. Mugging 2.0: Creatures 10-16; removal 6-7. Act of Treason 1.5: My 23rd or 22nd card, depending on removal. Gutter Skulk 1.0: 23rd card if I don't maindeck an additional land. Mental Vapors 0.5: This card will sometimes be sideboarded in. Shattering Blow 0.0: I will shred this card for counters. Frenzied tilling

Havoc Festival. We have enough burn to have it work.

I think the pick is probably Shadow here. I've been liking it less as the set goes on, but there are always a few games where it's the best creature you have.

Yeah, not the best, but we could use more creatures so Shadow
EDIT: Wasn't paying close enough attention and missed we already had a Shadow. Gate.
