Three way multiplayer. Also had Corpsejack Menace and Necropolis Regent in play, attacked with the Menace and beetle, and he let the beetle through. Boom, 6/6. Next turn, I attacked the other, tapped out player with the Drudge Beetle for six, which turned a 2/2 that had no business being so big into an 18/18 monstrosity. Sadly, I still lost the game (couldn't block enough fliers.) I'd like to think the Drudge Beetle then wandered off on its own, like Godzilla, leaving large swathes of Ravnica decimated in its wake. I'm really starting to enjoy my scavenge deck, even though it's a mechanic that's a pain in the rear to center a deck around. I never imagined I'd get a creature so big in a legitimate game. Anyone else have any amusing, similar tales of mechanics that just spiraled out beyond all belief?

I used Liliana of the Veil 's ultimate once. It's Magic, anything can happen. It's nice to hear someone is enjoying Scavenge outside of Limited tho.

In a duel I once managed to get a Mourning Thrull up to be an 78/78 by paying life gained through his own ability as well as two Spirit Loop s. My opponent could only try to chump it, but managed to do so over several turns until I finally got my Loxodon Warhammer on that bugger.

I once swung with a 22/22 Serra Angel , thanks to a pair of Empyrial Armor s on it.

One time in a multiplayer game I started with a Young Wolf and two Hunger of the Howlpack in hand. So I play my wolf, second turn I swing with it into some 2/2 thing. Obvious block is obvious. So then I slap on both Hungers onto the Wolf for a second turn 8/8! Which got unsummoned. But hey, second turn 8/8 using only ISD block commons!

Me and my wife and a friend were part of a multiplayer game online. I can't remember if it was 4 players or 6 players but I remember we were down to 4 players and my buddy landed an unanswered szadek, lord of secrets . I can't speak for the other players but draw after draw I didn't get an answer and he ended up killing all 3 players with the card. I was the last to die when he attacked with a 320/320 szadek.

During a 4 player FFA game, someone got an infinite ammount of mana, life, tokens with infinite power and toughness and lost the game.

During a Standard match a month or two ago I managed to get Ajani, Caller of the Pride to ulitmate. At ~15 life. Against RDW. He spent so much effort trying to keep Ajani down, too. Far more than he should have.

Out of hand incidents? I cheated Dark Depths into its token (using Vampire Hexmage , natch) and promptly removed a player from the game. The next player then temporarily stole the token from me to remove ME from the game. Those Red temporary theft cards lead to crazy plays in MP games. A red deck that chains Mana Geyser , Geosurge , and Reforge the Soul into mammoth Earthquake s and Comet Storm s occasionally fizzles and never draws into an X-spell, leaving all that mana going unused. Yet, when it works, it works. Last Laugh once again led to a 9-player game ending in 15 minutes. Cheers!
