I love foreign languages. I speak Mandarin very well and a good deal of Sichuanese in case you forgot. I just don't think its a good idea for everyone to learn them, if you already speak English.

Yes, why should anyone bother learning about primitive cultures when we all know America is just better?

I don't have an egosig because I'd rather my ideas be judged on their merits than on mine.

The sad reality is that actually many people really do think that way...

To be fair, Americans aren't the only ones guilty of this.

I find it pretty sad that you result to strawman fallacies so much and then you accuse others of doing the same?

No one said anything remotely close to what you're talking about.

I've yet to meet any...but if I did I would still find Cato's mindset to be worse...the guy that thinks he has all the answers when if fact he does all the things he blames others for.

Someone that prefers American culture in the way you're suggesting is harmless...people like Cato make the world a terrible place to live.

Way off topic, but I see where UA is coming from. You know those guys who say they aren't math people? I'm not a language guy.

Occassionally when catering, I've been put the task of arranging Fruit and Cheese or Grilled Vegetable platters.  More than once a high class buffet has started with the mark of Phyrexia upon it.  Since i've got a good eye for color so it looks great to people who don't get the "joke" (it's a niceley divided circle after all: the outline gives you 4-6 "regions" to work with), this has actually got me put on platter design more often, resulting in Phyrexia's presence at more private and industry events.

I have 6743 Planeswalker points, that's probably more than you.
