Maybe some people around here underestimate / overestimate how the power level changes, when that opponent isn't allowed to discard his or her worst cards, but is forced to discard his or her best cards..

Sure, it's really powerful, but let me see you balance this out.
In Magic development, you can't just make a single powerful design like this and coin it a success, you've got to balance it out across the board. The problem we've got in Magic today due to this exact style of lazy development, for this reason the scales are tipped today as they are.

I don't think competitive dredge decks even play madness cards...
Notice I said graveyard decks or madness decks. The two both discard a lot, but only one sends its stuff to the graveyard.
Clever deduction Watson! Maybe you can explain why Supergirl is trying to kill me.

Nice card-draw for aggro decks, bad for control decks.
No, you NEVER go to 2-3 cards in hand in control decks. Nope, never.
Is your game plan to empty your hand? Then play this card.
Is your game plan to generate card advantage, and have as many answers to your opponent as possible? Then don't play this card. There's a reason why Careful Study was used in Madness decks and not Draw-Go decks.
