If I have an Elgaud Shieldmate on the battlefield soul bonded with another creature (now both have hexproof) and my opponent plays Detention Shere and names Elgaud Shieldmate, I exile all of them in my hand, library, graveyard and battlefield (unless it is soulbonded) correct?

A few misconceptions here.

1. Detention Sphere doesn't require a player to 'name' anything - it targets a permanent, then all permanents that share a name with the target are exiled.
2. As D-Sphere targets, a Elgaud Shieldmate hexproofed creature that your opponent controls is not a legal target for it.
3. Permanents only exist on the battlefield. Your hand, library and graveyard contain 'cards', not 'permanents', so they're safe from Detention Sphere.
I'm all about super-control in MTG. If you're able to stop my shenanigans, then there aren't enough shenanigans.

1) your opponent can't target the Shieldmate with Sphere's trigger if Shieldmate has hexproof (he'll have to choose a different target)
2) Sphere only affects permanents on the field, specifically the legal target and all others on the field with the same name
3) if the target becomes illegal after being legally targeted, then no permanents will be exiled because the ability will be countered
4) if he can target a Shieldmate that isn't soul bonded and it remains a legal target at resolution of the trigger, Sphere will exile all other Shieldmates on the field (including his) whether they have hexproof or not
