But the copy is a copy of the card, not just a copy of the spell.
But it's still not a card. You cannot pick up the copy and throw it at your opponent in a fit of rage. This is the same reason why tokens are not affected by Leyline of the Void : tokens are not cards.
This is not like rebound; you do not cast the card from exile, and then resolve the spell by putting the card into another zone (say, a graveyard). You cast the card, and as the reminder text says, you exile it, then you copy the card (not pull out a blank card and scribble down the text) and cast THAT spell.
"Possibilities abound, too numerous to count."
"Innocent, unbiased observation is a myth." --- P.B. Medawar (1969)
"Ever since man first left his cave and met a stranger with a different language and a new way of looking at things, the human race has had a dream: to kill him, so we don't have to learn his language or his new way of looking at things." --- Zapp Brannigan (Beast With a Billion Backs)
And being a copy prevents the cypher ability part of the spell to be ran again, I guess, otherwise you could cypher the spell yet on to another creature... and that would be bonkers...
Curiosity is Hit by enchantment removal. Encoded spells are not. And the way cipher is worded, it looks like you can't be 2for1ed by spot removal (I think. I'll wait for the errata on this one)
This effect would be TONS better than Curiosity depending on the mana cost of the spell. Remember the spell resolves before you encode it, so it would cantrip, and as said, dodges enchantment removal. Seems pretty good to me.
"I have existed from the morning of the world and I shall exist until the last star falls from the night. Although I have taken the form of Gaius Caligula, I am all men as I am no man and therefore I am a God."

That was my thought process as well. Drawing a card is pretty good. Drawing a card every turn without fear of disenchant effects is awesome!
So if i cast a turn 1 Blistercoil Weird, a turn 2 Invisible Stalker and then a turn three Instant spell with Cipher encoding it to my Stalker. Every subsequent hit with my Stalker gives an additional 1/1 counter to my, by then, 2/2 Weird and untaping it?!? If so I likey. Especially if there is a Dimir spell, charm, creature or artifact which will give other spells like Inaction Injunction the Cipher ability.

With the exception that the blistercoil weird effect is until end of turn and does not inherently get counters, yes.

oh thats right its only till the end of turn, still not bad.
Also Auger of Bolas can be used to tutor up cipher spells right? As long as they are instants and sorceries anyway. And dont orget what a beast Talrand will be pumping out drakes like they are going out of style every time the Ciphered Stalker takes a swing.
I will admit, the art is a little strange, has a whole fish eye lens thing going there.
The ability seems pretty dope, I cast this spell then I put it on a creature and recast it every time it smacks you in the face. Doesn't get more black and blue then that.
Overall, I approve of the card and the mechanic, can't wait.
