My husband runs a mono white deck he is in the process of building, and he has an Akroma, Angel of Wrath in it, but needs a better way to fish her out. He wants to keep it mono white, so guys, are there any white "tutors"?

The only white tutors I can think of are Enlightened Tutor (which obviously does not fit the bill) and Loyal Retainers (which, in addition to being stupid expensive to get a hold of, only fishes them out of the grave, which makes them not much better than Resurrection and company). The best options are probably Planar Portal or splash green for Green Sun's Zenith , Tooth and Nail , Captain Sisay , Worldly Tutor , Birthing Pod , Brutalizer Exarch , Chord of Calling , Defense of the Heart , Fauna Shaman , Fierce Empath , Hibernation's End (can't recommend that one at all), Mwonvuli Beast Tracker , Pattern of Rebirth , Primal Command , Survival of the Fittest , Sylvan Tutor , Time of Need , or Weird Harvest .

You get the idea that green is all about the creatures?

Monowhite has lots of tutor power technically, but nothing to match Akroma. It's something I've told them is missing from white's capabilities, and that it's an essential operation that needs to be balanced across the board; but knowing them, they'll just "psh, little man" at it and that'll be the end of it.

Sorry...

Going to be hard to tutor for a creature in monowhite; green and black are usually you creature tutor colors (green for specifically a creature; black for any card).

Off the top of my head, Beseech the Queen , Planar Portal and Citanul Flute are options, though they're all quite expensive.

However, an alternative option would be to include some sort of card advantage engine, plus Scroll Rack . Thawing Glaciers is one I use to decent effect. I believe Land Tax is the grandaddy of this idea if you're able to get a hold of it, as it provides huge card advantage, and although they're just basic lands, Scroll Rack can turn them into more useful cards. Including a shuffle effect for maximum benefit.

white usually can't tutor for creatures unless it's something like Ranger of Eos that can only find dorks, or some other specific kind of card.  Mostly it just gets enchantments.

You're sorta out of luck if it must be mono-white.  As stated above the best options are either green, black, or very expensive.

white plays nice with blue though, he could try digging for Akroma with a bunch of draw, scry (as in Foresee ), or Court Hussar type effects.  Maybe Sensei's Divining Top if you managed to pick up a set before the price got ridiculous

WU gives you Isperia the Inscrutable , which might be a solution.

Cheers!

I think I may have mistaken you for a MUP of Sarah, so if I have, I'd like to apologize for that "who's your daddy" comment. Please forgive me. That's not my style in the least, and I'm bit skeptical towards the authenticity of any member's identity here.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the responses. If it were my deck, I would splash a bit of green or blue, but my husband wants it mono white, because his decks tell a story
and GM_Champion, I didn't see any strange comment, but thank you never the less for the apology

It is quite alright, I figured if anyone could find something, it'd be some one on here. Anyone know any good mono white mana ramp?
