Since I just pulled a second Bloodline Keeper yesterday, I thought I should start on my vampire deck finally. I own the Dark Rituals, 2 Do or Die, 4 Bump in the Night, Olivia, 1 Dragonskull Summit, both Vampire Nocturnus, both Bloodline Keeper and the Nighthawks... and I'm trying to do the rest on a budget.
Lands: 2x Dragonskull Summit 4x Tainted Peak 13x Swamp _____ 19
Spells: 4x Dark Ritual 4x Bump in the Night 4x Feast of Blood 3x Sign in Blood 2x Urge to Feed or Do or Die _____ 17
Creatures: 4x Pulse Tracker or Vampire Lacerator or Guul Draz Vampire 4x Blood Seeker or Blood Artist 4x Vampire Interloper 4x Stromkirk Captain 3x Vampire Nighthawk 2x Bloodline Keeper 1x Olivia Voldaren 2x Vampire Nocturnus _____ 24 -- 60 cards
Now, the problem I'm having is deciding between all 6 of the creatures above Stromkirk Captain. The other thing I'm wondering about is if I should take out Bump in the Night for Vampire Lacerator or Guul Draz Vampire , although those creatures are kind of the reason why I have them in there.
I also cant decide between Do or Die and Urge to Feed , but unfortunately [that I don't own it] I think Urge to Feed might be better. I'm also thinking I should have a third Dragonskull Summit in there, but I'd prefer not to pay $5 for 2 more lands if I don't have to.
For mana fixing you can add Rakdos Guildgate its a common so i dont think it will be out of your budget Between your one drops i would play the Lacerator unless you have Strormkirk Noble Also i would remove the Blood Seeker or The artist for Gatekeeper of Malakir About removal you can add Go for the throat Doom Blade Ultimate Price Murder in my opion those cards are better than urge to feed or do or Die but thats just me Hope this helps

I would drop the Vampire Interloper . Since he can only attack. This will free up a slot for you. This way you can put in Gatekeeper of Malakir . By doing that this will allow to drop blood seeker for Blood Artist . The artist is by far better. From experience of using urge to feed i never really used it that much. Would be better used for something like Malakir Bloodwitch .

Stromkirk Noble is counterproductive to Vampire Nocturnus , that's why I didn't add it to the deck. I'm just going to try and see if some friends have a couple of Dragonskull Summit to trade. Otherwise I'll probably just buy the guildgate from the local card shop for the time being. I personally like the Artist , but I will fit in some of those Gatekeepers to compliment him. I chose Do or Die afterall. For 2 mana, it gets rid of multiple creatures. And after choosing Blood Artist, I think it is a better choice. As for the Pulse Tracker and Blood Seeker , I was thinking of a multiplayer game perspective. But then again, I don't want to make everyone looking at me as a target early in the game. So, I've chosen Vampire Lacerator over Guul Draz Vampire and Pulse Tracker . I WILL drop those Interloper s. They're just kind of... meh. In that slot, I'll add 3 Gatekeeper of Malakir and 2 Vampire Hexmage . Somehow I forgot about the Hexmage, and I think it would be a nice edition to this deck. And I'm just going to add a 3rd Dragonskull Summit since that's what I'm shooting for in the end. How does it look now? (Original post edited)

Only thing I'd do is dump Bump (hehe, dump Bump...lol) for 4 Terminate s. List looks good.

I think I want to keep the Bump in the Night s in because they have Flashback (even though it is expensive), so I have the option to reuse it if I'm starting to draw short. The only other change I can think of would be to switch the 3 Gatekeeper of Malakir for 3 Guul Draz Assassin .

Yes, but you don't need cards that will do damage exclusively to your opponent. You'll have plenty of critters to do that. What you need is more removal to clear the way for said critters.Spells that will deal damage to creatures OR players is cool, like a Lightning Bolt , but I also don't like limiting myself to a certain damage number. 3 damage may not be enough to kill something later on so your vamps can get through. Un-conditional removal is king in aggro. As far as Gatekeeper vs. Assassin, I prefer a combination of the two, but if I could run only one, I'd probably stick to the Gatekeepers.

You have a good point, more creature removal may be better. I may have to buy a few more Terminate s next time I buy cards online, seeing as I only own 1. So for the time being, I am sticking with Bump in the Night . I do own 3 Diabolic Edict though, but Terminate is obviously better. I'll have to test it out a bit. I just realized that I could possibly win by using Do or Die on myself with a decent army and Blood Artist out. Winning like that would be pretty amusing...

I've completed this deck as shown, have played a few games now... and it is definitely awesome. Bump in the Night is the only card I've noticed that could be improved upon. I haven't had any huge problems with creatures yet, so I'm not sure what to replace it with. It actually isn't a bad choice at all, and I added it to compliment Vampire Lacerator . But if I had to choose... I'm thinking it would be between Diabolic Edict (or Terminate as previously suggested) and Duress . Duress seems like the safest choice, as I just have creature removal and Olivia otherwise. I may also run just 3 of them in here I'm thinking. Otherwise, I am very pleased with how this deck has turned out so far.
