this has been my favorite playstyle: CONTROL! i love control. just my type of playstyle.  unfortunatly until after christmas or janaury i cant get some cards im looking for unless i can trade or get them from packs. aka:geist of saint traft, resto angel, and hallowed fountain. and sphinx's revelation

here is my "budget deck based off a u/w control deck that i play that has done very well there. i have never played this type of deck though. i didnt run runechanter's pike or many creatures at all.

2 moorland haunt

3 augur of bolas
4 delver of secrets
3 invisible stalker
2 lone revenant
2 snapcaster mage only have 2 so don't say add 4
1 talrand,sky summoner

2 cyclonic rift  
2 dissipate
2 rewind
3 syncopate
2 think twice
4 thought scour
3 unsummon

21 instants    lol no sorceries

2 runechanter's pike

2 artifacts



sideboard:
1 witchbane orb
1 clone
2 seraph of dawn (for now)
2 curse of echoes
2 dispel
1 essence scatter
2 feeling of dread or dungeon geists
1 negate
1 jace, memory adept might add 2nd.
2 supreme verdict

might add detention sphere or oblivion ring
maybe add erase for opposing detention sphere 's and rest in peace 's (lol "pieces")

ok so thats what i can make in about 3 more days.  i would like to add like 2 seraph of dawn (i might switch between this guy and lone revenant ) i aslo wanted to maybe add Lyev Skyknight and/or cloudshift for protection. i'm not sure if i want lone revenant.  i want him mainly cause he has a 4/4 body with hexproof for 5 mana. and if he is alone after maybe a sweep he grants me an impulse .

 my main worry is how easy my stuff dies to searing spear or cards like rolling temblor or bonfire of the damned for 2.  that's why originally i added lone revenant for the big "butt"
