I'll start by digging through my first card set. Glacier's Grip Enchantment - Aura (Common) Enchant land Enchanted land loses all land types and doesn’t untap during its controller’s untap step. This card is bad because it uses Blue-feeling mechanics to achieve an end result that Blue shouldn't be able to have access to. And cheap land denial at Common isn't very fun. It could also be bad because of the "lose all land types" part, which has some interactions with the land themes of the set but has rules implications that could be confusing to a new player ( Darkslick Shores can still tap once more for mana, but Watery Grave can't) Post a bad card of your own (legitimately bad design, not parody or intentional ugliness) and tell the world what's wrong with it! Or post a good card with a serious flaw or... whatever, let's just do this thing!

The limitations of each Magic color-concept are not to be restricted by cold-corporate limitations, but by the limitations of their corresponding occult concepts and science fiction philosophies.

While I agree that parts of the card is unintuitive, I'm not sure if I'm on the board that the end-effect isn't very blue. Blue has a multitude of precedents for me to be okay with it from a LD perspective. They can make you spend additional mana with mana leak etc, they have a lot of twiddle effects to tap your permanents, they can bounce your lands to set you back, and they can turn lands into islands. They also have a long history with "can't untap" effects. Even more, Psychic Overload already exists, as does Tamiyo and Frost Titan. My biggest complaint about the card, would probably be that loss of land types could be handled a lot better. It feels incredibly redundant.
Everything Mown does is elegant.

Yeah, I don't think this is a problem mechanically, just a hopped-up Sea's Claim . I think it just goes against the current line of thinking wrt land destruction, i.e., it's too cheap.

Presumption of Inferiority Enchantment--Aura Curse Enchant player When ~ ETB, enchanted player loses 5 life. When ~ LTB, enchanted player gains 5 life. Why it's bad This demonstrates that "just because a color used to do something doesn't mean a color should still do it". The problem is, Illusions of Grandeur is easily broken with Donate . Delusions of Mediocrity isn't quite as broken, but it's (at worst) gaining 10 life that an opponent can't remove, and it makes an opponent lose 10 life if you Donate and Disenchant . (Urza block: This kind of wackiness was a thing.) This reverses it, but most of the time it's still a much-better Lava Axe .
Clever deduction Watson! Maybe you can explain why Supergirl is trying to kill me.

Magic has its own occult/fiction philosophy that fully explains why each of the five colors has limitations. Applying other philosophies, fictional or real, is irrelevant.

This is a card I made for the contest like no other thread, designed as a hate card in an enchantment themed set. Runebreaker Druid Creature - Human Druid Rebel Enchanted creatures lose all abilities. "I will not rest until the very last man has been freed from the shackles of this enchanted plague that corrupts our land." 2/3
Didn't think of what would happen if this guy got enchanted himself, heh.

Okay, here is the clincher. I've been waiting to say this.
The "cam girl" this was inspired by was just a girl from a social networking website, Stickam. Her name was TinyTerror and she was just a regular girl who was on her webcam, totally unrelated to any type of adult content.
I hope you all feel really smart now.
This is like someone coming into class with a bloody nose and everyone's like "Jeez what happened to you" and they're like "I ran into a wall" and everyone laughs at them for being an idiot but then at the end of the class they say "HAHA JUST KIDDING I PUNCHED MYSELF IN THE FACE!!!!!! TALK ABOUT OWNED HAHAHAHAHA"
I really enjoy imagining this from Kevin's perspective. Because in Kevin's world, Rosewater actually reads everything he types. Mark is sitting there right now, reading this, and thinking "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled. . ." Or some such. He chuckles low, then clicks on "The Best Of KEVINSET" and says "Yes, this'll do just fine. A busty lady with banding who deals direct damage to Zones!? Why this will be the star of my next set, and no one will ever believe you Kevin." Then he closes his Macbook, so his servant may move it out of the way, while another servant puts a Fetal Richard Garfield Clone lathered in Steak Sauce in front of him. Then Mark Feasts.
Sorin walked into the chamber where his newly wed bride, Vampy, awaited. A beam of moonlight illuminated his brilliant silver hair as he strode with confidence towards the bed. His shirtless body showcased his powerful abdominal muscles and he was wearing jeans with holes in the knees.
I wish more girls play magic cards...
Have you considered assassinating Kevin?

All enchanted creatures woud lose all abilities, including Runebreaker Druid, and that's it. Static abilities are only applied once, you don't keep checking them.

What's more worrying is what happens when you enchant a Lhurgoyf with Ethereal Armor while Runebreaker Druid's in play -- the Druid will remove the characteristic-defining ability that sets Lhurgoyf 's power and toughness! This is why every card that removes all abilities from a creature also sets its P/T (or makes P/T not matter ).

A card I submitted in the 20 questions game Kingler Legendary Creature - Crab (Mythic Rare) hexproof : untap target creature you control : return target red creature to it's owner's hand 5/5 In addition to the pokemon reference this card is bad because; combining all of the abilities of the other crabs to make one legend doesn't really mean that you're going to have a creature worthy of a mythic rare slot in a set. It also may not make a whole lot of sense.
Don't be too smart to have fun
