The shop where I play FNM is having it's last Extended tournament this week. I plan to run this pile of cards in it:

4 x Memnite
4 x Ornithopter
4 x Signal Pest
4 x Vault Skirge
4 x Steel Overseer
4 x Porcelain Legionnaire
2 x Etched Champion

4 x Mox Opal

4 x Dispatch
4 x Faith's Shield
4 x Tempered Steel

18 x Plains

Side board
4 x Erase
2 x Etched Champion
2 x Phyrexian Metamorph
3 x Rest in Peace
4 x Mirran Crusader


The only color option available to me for Extended is to add . This would allow Turn Aside and possibly Negate or Mana Leak , but I'm not sold on the idea. I don't have the mana-base to go any other way in Extended.

The side-board is a bit janky, I do like Erase and Rest in Peace and the Crusader just wins games by himself in the right match-up, but the other stuff is just thrown in. I should probably run at least one more Champion main-deck. My thought for having them in the board is if I encounter targetted removal, especially burn. The Metamorph is for lack of a better idea.

Next month we go to Standard and big changes.
