Why are they playing with core sets? Everyone knows block sets give a better limited experience due to the variety of mechanics and increased possibility for synergy.
Well, I suppose it could be worse, they could be holding AVR cards...

Wait until they start getting into other formats. Yugioh (the anime) has more formats than the IRL game, of which motorcycles are only the most unintentionally hilarious.
If I had Yugioh-style draw, I'd play more five-card combo decks.
Which might also explain the dog collar. Yugioh reference? But I still think it's for yaoi fangirls.
