Hi Guys, I've just started playing Magic again and bought today the Dark Ascension Green/Black Event Deck, Golgari Ravnica Intro deck and the golgari/izzet pack (however do not have izzet deck as I bought the pack with a friend, so only the golgari half). I would be extremely grateful if you would help me creating a deck. I've put the deck lists below of the 3 decks I've bought. Thanks!
1st off use the autocard which is [ c ] cardname [ / c ] without the spaces[this will make it easier to help, because allows people to hover over the card to read it]
Though as a Golgari player I would recommend getting more dreg mangler -a personal favorite of mine- and arbor elf [both are commons and really cheap]
as for a basis
Looked at what you have I would probably go for start [not much to work with here]:
Its not the best, it should get you started playing. The deck above needs alot of work. Only thing I can say is play around with it, make changes as you see fit, and as you get new cards. And eventually get a deck working around a theme instead of trying to put a theme together as seen above

Thankyou so much! I did have doubts about people actually helping me and doing this. But thankyou
What is your path to victory? Birthing pod decks are extrmely powerful because they use toolbox creatures. There is another common golgari theme loosely defined as reanimators. Which are you aiming for?
Another thing to keep in mind is budget and legality. Many of the best toys come from sets long past. Will you use things such as animate dead , exhume or life // death in your deck.
Here is a very complicated example of a deck that tries to be both a reanimator and a toolbox birthing deck. It does neither well and is slow to boot so its only real use is in multiplayer. It is a better example of a tollbox than it is of a reanimator since its only reanimator tech is some discard wild mongrel , bonded fetch and recurring nightmare . It of course can dig easily for any of the reanimator pieces, and recurring nightmare can be used before anyone can cast anything if you use it like a planeswalker just cast, but it is very vulnerable to counterspells.
You are both rational and emotional. You value creation and discovery, and feel strongly about what I create. At best, you're innovative and intuitive. At worst, you're scattered and unpredictable.
