I'd like to make a deck with Worldspine Wurm and other large creatures in it.  I'm curious what other kinds of cards I should add besides ramp. I have Somberwald Sage and Arbor Elf along with Druids' Repository .  The big guys I have are a Worldspine Wurm an Elderscale Wurm and a Primordial Hydra .  I'm curious what else you guys might put in a deck like this.  I really like Green and big monsters.  That's all I'm really looking for.  And if it isn't standard legal I'd prefer it to be rather cheap.  Under $50 would be great under $20 would be awesome.  So if anyone has any ideas for a large green deck that'd be great.  I know most people prefer to put creatures like that in their graveyard then return them to the battlefield, but i'm not really into that.  Feel free to use multiple colors, I just want big monsters like the worldspine worm.

I haven't checked the prices on these cards but here are some options

omnath, locus of mana
oath of druids
tooth and nail
natural order
emrakul, the aeons torn
gauntlet of power
mana flare
mana reflection
fertilid and a +1+1 counter theme
overgrowth with arbor elf
priest of titania + elves

There is a quick list of a few ramp strategies and/or creatures that you can ramp into.

Just some thoughts,

20 x Forest
3 x Wirewood Lodge

2 x Elvish Archdruid
4 x Arbor Elf
4 x Llanowar Elf
4 x Priest of Titania
4 x Overgrowth

1 x Worldspine Wurm
1 x Elderscale Wurm
1 x Primordial Hydra

Sixteen spots left to fill here. I'd play at least some Harmonize to help you recover after being hit by Supreme Verdict or other board wipes. Steely Resolve can protect your manabase against spot removal. Elves is fastest, but also the most fragile. An alternative is playing Cloudpost and friends in your landbase, but 't weakens the Arbor Elves. But you'll have to play at least 10 fatties in addition to the Harmonize s. Pelakka Wurm is one snake you might want to consider also .

I'd go for a combo type approach.

Hypergenesis , with about 10 cascade cards, and about 14 to 18 fatties could be a good start.
Here's a thread I made with all the deets.

When you cascade into a Hypergenesis, it resolves straight away.  And it's a really fun card in Multiplayer.

here's my Green Fatty deck...i think you'll like it (but Ulamog was $20 :\ ). also, i don't really think primordial hydra is worth it unless you plan on having a LOT of ways to protect him. whenever you play him you better be prepared to get ganged up on, as other players will stop at nothing to get rid of him.

Creatures:

Avacyn's Pilgrim x4 (im too lazy to buy Llanowar Elves)
Dungrove Elder x2
Omnath, Locus of Mana x1
Vorapede x2
Manor Gargoyle x1 (its always nice to have a 4/4 that can't die but can attack too)
Seedborn Muse x1
Primeval Titan x1
Primalcrux x1
Pelakka Wurm x2
Moldgraf Monstrosity x2
Elderscale Wurm x1
Liege of the Tangle x1
Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger x1
Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre x1
Worldspine Wurm x1

Instants:

Vines of Vastwood x2

Enchantments:

Wild Growth x2
Rancor x2
Canopy Cover x2
Overgrowth x2
Defense of the Heart x1

Sorceries:

Cultivate x2
Overwhelming Stampede x1
Boundless Realms x1
Praetor's Counsel x1

Artifacts:

Fireshrieker x1
Quicksilver Amulet x2 (a must have)
Akroma's Memorial x1

Lands:

Gaea's Cradle x1
Treetop Village x2
Eldrazi Temple x4
Forest x12

MorticianJohn already mentioned this, but Worldspine Wurm  loves Natural Order . You can Natural Order something tiny in order to find him, and then later on your can Natural Order , saccing it (in order to make 3 5/5 tokens), and finding it again, going from 15 points of power to 30 off of a single card.

If you go the Natural Order approach, then Eternal Witness acts as her usual sexy self, giving you both a creature to sac, and a way to get multiple uses out of a single NO.
I'm all about super-control in MTG. If you're able to stop my shenanigans, then there aren't enough shenanigans.

I've been looking at worldspine wurm and I have a question about it. if you sac it to another card do you still get the tokens? If so it would be insane running a playset with Feed the pack .

I would say yes because it does not specify how it dies. So if you sacrifice it or it just dies in combat, you are going to get your tokens.

That's awesome. With the pack not only would you get 3 5/5 Trampling Wurms, but also 30 Power in wolves. Plus he keeps coming back.

Since you're already in the Onslught block with Resolves why I'd go with  Elvish Guidance Instead of overgrowth just to crank up the mana even more.
