Spells that just give you life aren't very good. They kill your card advantage and do nothing else for you. I think small creatures that give life are much better. You're also pretty hard on that Angel theme, but Angel of Jubilation works really well with weenies. Since you have quite a few of them, why not go with a weenie/lifegain theme?

bad cards,
angel's mercy x4
  ajani's mantra x2
  shattered angel x2
  luminous angel x1
  sustainer of the realm x4

cards marked* are only bad in this deck.

you need more support for your weenies mirror entity is always good honor of the pure good alternative
. you could just go with soul sisters: soul's attendant serra ascendant ranger of eos maybe divinity of pride and angelic overseer

the pacifism style removal are generally not so great swords to plowshares and path to exile may be out of budget but unmake is cheap - also temporal isolation at least has flash

If you do stick with the high cost end Noble Purpose might be worth a look.

Gonna give this one a decent analysis.

1. Kudos to being one of the first decklist posters around here that has too many lands, rather than too few. With your mana curve, you probably want to cut down to 25, as well as cutting 2-3 nonland cards to bring the deck down to 60-61 cards with a nice land:nonland ratio.
2. Call to Serve isn't very good as far as enchantments go - a pretty minor boost, and no protection against the weakness of auras, 2-for-1s (they kill the creature, they get 2 cards for their 1). These could just be the three you cut, you could replace them with decent equipment (ie. Kitesail ), or you could go for an aura with a little more protection, like Flickering Ward or Spirit Loop .
3. As much as I can see that you want lifegain in your deck, I'd strongly suggest replacing Recumbent Bliss with Oblivion Ring . Right now you have nothing that can deal with noncreatures, so having at least one option means that something like Ensnaring Bridge won't completely ruin your day.
4. Not a huge fan of Cresendo of War - sure it can provide a big boost, but if it's giving you more benefit than your opponent you're probably already winning anyway. You could instead go for something like Mikaeus, the Lunarch , which will keep making your creatures bigger, but won't affect your opponent's creatures in the slightest.
5. I actually don't like Noble Purpose , simply because for 1 extra mana you can get True Conviction - unless you stack lifelink-esque triggers lifelink itself is usually superior (as it can allow you to survive what might otherwise be lethal damage), and double strike is very, very relevant.
6. I don't really like Defy Death here... you don't have too many targets which seem worthy of a 5 mana recursion spell. Seeing as your good recursion targets are all expensive already, you may as well just swap out 4 plains for Emeria, the Sky Ruin and get them for free.
7. Purity won't really be anything more than a 6/6 flier in most games. Red's usually going to be the color that wants to deal damage to your face, and if they're running such a deck they'll want to be winning before you get to 6 mana anyway.
8. Archangel of Strife isn't bad, but if you can get your hands on it Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite is much better. ^^ Though not quite as angelic...

Further considerations:
*Mana curve isn't actually too bad, besides a somewhat fat 5 slot.
*Not a lot of removal - 2 Day of Judgment , 3 Recumbent Bliss . Basically leaves you at the mercy of what your opponent plays. Of course, this means that instead of getting cards that answer their threats, you get cards that ask them to answer you - but sometimes they'll play something that you just need to stop. There's a fine line when it comes down to how much removal to include in a deck. :-)
*Further to the removal topic, as I mentioned in point 3 above, you have absolutely no way to deal with noncreature permanents. Against some decks it won't matter; against others they'll just play something like a Sphere of Safety w/ a Luminarch Ascension out, sit back, and start shenanigans. Often players will include cards that can hit multiple types of permanents (ie. Oblivion Ring ), or creatures with an ETB that will get rid of a permanent in order to have removal, and reduce the risk of it being a dead card (due to your opponent not playing anything worth removing). Leonin Relic-Warder could be quite good here - at worst its an on-curve creature; at best it gives you a 2-for-1.

Overall though, besides cutting out the ~5 lands and the 2-3~ nonlands to get your deck down to 60-61 cards, it's actually a workable list as is. Good job!
I'm all about super-control in MTG. If you're able to stop my shenanigans, then there aren't enough shenanigans.

What kind of archetype do you want to be playing?

You have bits of white weenies (low-costed efficient creatures backed up by anthems like Crescendo), of human tokens (devotion/doomsayer/overseer, which you ought to play with red and token anthems , both aggro decks.

Next I see Soul Sisters as Rawsugar mentioned (Pridemate) which can be some kind of lifegain control deck, which is closer to your initial list than your updated list, and, mostly, just a list of the white cards you have. We can suggest a couple of thousand of those, but it really helps if you establish for yourself some kind of gameplan, where you figure out what it is that you want your deck to do
