I have spent a lot of time trying to make an EE deck that could stand a chance at FNM. I have gotten it to do ok but still lacking the regular wins to be viable this far. Really you have to splash green for mana ramp, Boundless Realms is pretty key but you have to run mostly basic lands with it. Increasing Vengeance , Temporal Mastery and big burn spells are all must haves in the deck IMO. Ramping into a large EE's ASAP is the only way to stand a chance. The temporal masters help you ether get ahead for the EE or give you a chance to try another. Increasing vengeance is amazing in the deck as well, they let you pull of some great combos. You might as well just ignore agro decks with it, you lose vs them. Also the control spells are a waste in the deck since they do nothing with EE but waste a chance at a proper spell. I would post the list of the deck I had but I have taken it apart since and don't fill like rebuilding it right now. The basic principal with an EE deck is to ramp into it ASAP and ignore what your enemy is doing and just focus the deck on rushing that big EE and hoping it hits the right spells. I found Mystic Retrieval and Devils Play also play in well with the deck. My thoughts where a lite scattered, sorry. Hope it helps give you some direction and perhaps I'll rebuild the deck and post it.

If you want, here's the EE list I was last playing:
4 Farseek 4 Temporal Mastery 3 Reforge the Soul 2 Psychic Spiral 4 Ranger's Path 3 Boundless Realms 1 Mystic Retrival 4 Epic Experiment 1 Firemind's Foresight (I never tried it, took the deck apart before I did. It fetches into Epic Experiment and Devil's Play at the same time) 2 Cyclonic Rift (same as Firemind's, I replaced some Tides with these because you can overload them when you EE into them) 2 Devastation Tide (-2 Cyclonic Rift, +2 of these if Rift ends up being bad, but I doubt that) 1 Devil's Play 2 Increasing Vengeance 4 Steam Vents 9 Forest 4 Island 4 Mountain 3 Hinterland Harbor 3 Sulfur Falls
I haven't touched the deck in over a month.

RTFC? Firemind's Foresight - instants only.

If you cast a card “without paying its mana cost,” you can’t pay alternative costs such as overload costs. You can pay additional costs such as kicker costs. If the card has mandatory additional costs, you must pay those. |
Other than that it is a pretty solid EE list, if lacking in win-cons. Mystic Retrieval is definitely big when running Psychic Spiral . 3 Boundless Realms seems overkill.
Standard Pauper! (play it on MTGO)

Like I said, I had never played with the card. I obviously would have noticed if I had played with the card that it only got instants. I guess getting instants or sorceries would have made the card actually somewhat playable. Silly me for thinking they would make a card like that decent without being a mythic.
As for Cyclonic Rift, I thought you could overload it off EE. Meh. Just means you max back out on Devestation Tide and add back in a Reforge the Soul. As for 3 Boundless Realms- it rarely hurts to hit 2, but really hurts to miss on one.
Though I'm sure the other guy will appreciate your pointing that stuff out.
