I have out 5 angel tokens I got from an entreat , and my opponent casts a d-sphere targeting a token.  If I were to give that token hexproof , would it stop the exile because he cannot target the token?  I guess I want to know if the "and all other permanents with the same name as that permanent" clause still happens if the original target does not get exiled.

Thanks!!

none of them would get exiled as the ability would be countered for having no legal targets

If you gave the targeted token hexproof the detention sphere's ability would be countered on resolution.  None of the effects would occur, so all 5 angels would remain on the battlefield.

small clarification on 2goth4u
it gets countered because ALL targets are illegal (that just happens to be 1 in this case, but the distinction can be important in other cases)
