Surfer of Time and Tide

Creature-Merfolk Wizard

Shroud

Whenever Surfer of Time and Tide deals combat damage to player, that player skips his next turn

Surfer of Time and Tide doesn't untap during your untap step if an opponent skipped his last turn

2/2

I don't think this is overpowered because: a) He can never get Trample, unblockability, or any other block evasion because of the shroud, b) He can only do it every other turn and c) it's a 2/2 creature for 7.

Overrun There are blanket tramples, and returning something like Rancor from the graveyard doesn't make it target, but yes it's quite a hard limit on it's ability to get through.

Remove the shroud, because that removes interaction from the game for both players.. Make the creature only untap during your opponent's untap step, because that's more simple..

This would be a good card for "Boonproof" (can't be targeted by its controller), but Boonproof is red-black.

On the opponent's untap step, how would that work in a 3- or 4- player game?  Wouldn't he just untap during the turn of your opponent who didn't skip a turn?  It'd work great in 2-player, though.
