If I have a Precursor Golem  in play and I cast Miraculous Recovery  or Resurrection  targeting a golem in my graveyard, is that spell duplicated for other golems in my graveyard, or does the Precursor Golem ability only trigger for golems in play? My suspicion is that they will not be duplicated because the target in question is a card that happens to have type creature rather than actually being at that moment a creature, but I've been wrong before (and will certainly be again) so I figured I'd ask and see what the helpful folks here have to say. Thanks!!

No. Precursor Golem's ability only triggers if it Golem on the battlefield is targeted. It will not trigger if a Golem card or a Golem spell is targeted. 109.2. If a spell or ability uses a description of an object that includes a card type or subtype, but doesn't include the word "card," "spell," "source," or "scheme," it means a permanent of that card type or subtype on the battlefield.

Precursor only affects instants and sorceries that target Golem permanents (when an effect mentions a creature type without adding "card" or "spell" after it, it means permanents of those types - see the difference between Muscle Sliver  , Root Sliver  and Homing Sliver  ). As such, it won't duplicate instants or soceries that target Golem cards or Golem spells.
