My first question is if i use Nivmagus Elemental < /span> in combo with Blistercoil Weird would the exiled spell still count as cast for it? I'm guessing yes just making 100% sure. My second question if someone else uses say terminate and I use redirect on it, can I exile the terminate with the Nivmagus or no? edit: (added to second question) since it dosent say you had to cast the spell and with redirect your now controlling the terminate

Yes, the spell is still cast. In fact, there won't be an instant or sorcery on the stack to exile unless one was cast (well, unless it was copied or something). But yes, if you cast Lightning Bolt , and then exile it with Nivmagus, your Blistercoil's trigger will still resolve. No, you cannot - Nivmagus can only exile spells you control, and changing the targets of a spell doesn't change its controller. For that, you'd need something like Commandeer . Redirect doesn't change the controller of the spell; it just changes the targets.

yes, exiling the spell does not "uncast" it Redirect does not give you control of the spell, you need Commandeer for that
