Do the creatures from the Bringer cycle have a color identity of , limiting their use to 5-color decks in EDH?

So is color ID determined by literally any mana symbol in the text box?

What if a card just uses a color word, like Springjack Pasture ? Is it only usable in a Wx deck?

Mana symbols on its rules text, yes. (reminder text, like this one, isn't rules text)

903.4. The Commander variant uses color identity to determine what cards can be in a deck with a certain commander. The color identity of a card is the color or colors of any mana symbols in that card's mana cost or rules text, plus any colors defined by its characteristic-defining abilities (see rule 604.3) or color indicator (see rule 204).

903.4b. Reminder text is ignored when determining a card's color identity. See rule 207.2.

For example, Quenchable Fire 's color ID is red and blue. But Charmed Pendant has colorless color ID because remider text is not rules text.

Words don't count, just mana symbols. Springjack Pasture's color ID is colorless (can be used under any Commander).

Yes. Or, more precisely:

Example: Bosh, Iron Golem is a legendary artifact creature with mana cost {8} and the ability "{3}{R}, Sacrifice an artifact: Bosh, Iron Golem deals damage equal to the sacrificed artifact's converted mana cost to target creature or player." Bosh's color identity is red.

Words don't matter, only symbols.

While we could refer to the comp rules, given that Commander's a casual format I'm going to refer to the rules at mtgcommander.net instead (which are probably exactly the same):

A card's colour identity is its colour plus the colour of any mana symbols in the card's rules text. A card's colour identity is established before the game begins, and cannot be changed by game effects.

So color words do not contribute to color identity. Springjack Pasture can be played in any EDH deck.
I'm all about super-control in MTG. If you're able to stop my shenanigans, then there aren't enough shenanigans.

If you have a question, be sure to check the Oracle text. Burnt Offering is red AND black in EDH.
