Drogo defeats Kupo Trooper 2-0Knew my luck wouldn't hold out forever! Let's call this a battle over mountains (or the lack thereof!) Duel 1: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvwxsyozSbE&list...Duel 2: www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCtLXvKvLf8&list...Forgive the lack of finesse in my live commentary, first time I've ever done it! Also, at times I just couldn't believe how badly the deck was working for me when it had been working so well recently so I was a bit gobsmacked! Duel 1: Peacekeepers (Drogo) vs Born of Flame (Me)This duel was fairly typical for a PK vs BoF matchup where the latter doesn't draw any sweepers. Peacekeepers keeps laying down creatures buffed up by un-removable enchantments (BoF has no non-creature removal), Born of Flame keeps getting rid of them one by one losing momentum and win condition (burning to the face) every time. The video pretty much explains the duel but I will offer a couple of anecdotes now I can reflect on the game. I'm fully aware I made a mistake on the final turn, so amazed was I that Drogo had the one card (that very few PK decks run anyway) that could've stopped my move that I missed the fact I could've burned one of his guys in response. This would have left me alive on 2 health with a 3/3 still on the field against me. I feel disappointed in myself that I missed this regardless because who knows I could've drawn into burn after burn after burn...doubtful considering my luck but still! I'm not going to beat myself up about the mistake too much though as it would've taken a miracle to win the duel and I was still topdecking on a one turn clock. Otherwise the duel was well fought. I was mana flooded, true, but not to the extent where there was no hope of victory as I still drew some good spells. Not going to lie I feel Drogo was lucky with his enchants, but as always he played well and knew when to hold back and when not to. Good game! Duel 2: Peacekeepers (Drogo) vs Born of Flame (Me)
The duel otherwise known as: "Kill me, kill me now."
There's nothing much to say about this duel apart from what the video makes painfully clear. I mulliganed down one card to still have a terrible hand (but one that was remotely playable). In hindsight I probably should have mulliganed again but at BEST that would have left me with 3 lands and two burns...NOT enough against a relentless aggro/token deck like Peacekeepers. Also going two cards down in a tournament against a great player with a high tier, properly streamlined deck is -almost- a gg right then and there. Almost. I had fun and just wish I could've put up a better fight for the final (and for my first live recording/commentary too, boo!). If anyone who watches the videos thinks my deck build sucks or I suck, I should note that I had played nine duels against randoms earlier today and won every single one of them. So believe me the deck is amazing (Born of Flame, not my build necessarily), I just got unlucky this time. Had to happen sooner or later! Congratulations Drogo on winning the tournament. Bloody well deserved if you ask me!

I'm not even surprised that Peacekeeper won so many matches. It's a ultra effective deck. Super aggressive, yet filled with card advantage opportunities.
Congratulation Drogo!
