Is proliferating counters the same as using an activated ability to add counters? For instance with Magosi, the Waterveil if I already put an aeon counter on it with its tap ability, will I be forced to skip my next turn if I put more counters on it by proliferating rather than using the land's own ability?
Magosi, the Waterveil will only make you skip a turn if you put an eon counter on it via its own activated ability. If you proliferate more eon counters onto it, or use Gilder Bairn to put another one on, or somehow manage to put another one on some other way, you will not have to skip more turns.
And you will not gain two extra turns from Magosi, even if it has two Eon counters. This trick doesn't work.
