I'm an established vet that posts "rogue" ideas all the time. I still get crushed by Indy, Cat, B_F, and the rest of 'em. It happens... get over it. They're just trying to help you get better in your deck selections, and not waste your time on ideas that won't end up better than Deck X.
Even then, I still don't always listen to them, because I see more potential in the idea than they do. I think that's the point that B_F is making. They're just throwing out advice and personal experiences, and it's your choice if you take it for what it is or take it as a personal attack. Sometimes they're right, sometimes they're wrong, but at least it's something. I always feel worse when my thread gets no comments than harsh comments.
An aside on netdecking:
In the end, if you are afraid to netdeck, you'll never get better. You have to get familiar with the established archetypes in order to learn how to beat them. You learn about their weaknesses and from which angles you can attack.

People who claim to know everything are generally the same people who are then shocked when they're getting beatn upside the head by decks they said were crap.

Dear newer posters,
I regretfully inform you that you are not infact a special snowflake. Don't come online for commentary on your deck and then back out when the internet tells you its terrible. This is all part of the improvement process. If you feel like we are being too harsh, deal with it. You will become conditioned to it anyway. If we give you a suggestion, don't flame us out, because we will fire back. We give you suggestions for your benefit, not for the pleasure of trolling your ass into oblivion. If you see a "veteran" post a decklist, if you see something they can improve on, don't hesitate to suggest something, they will respond nicely if you just suggest it in a nice manner. Remember its a two way street, if you don't **** on us, we won't unload dumpsters of **** to push you out.
Regards, Kips

A poster who uses unsubstantiated anecdotal evidence to argue a point that makes no sense whatsoever under the normal laws of the universe...
Could it be?
Are you in fact RONALD REAGAN?

Mr. Gorbachev.....tear down this wall! I hold no opinion on your petty politics of the entrenched bourgeois of forum regulars and your proletariat of scrubs. I'm just here for the lulz, because that's how I roll.
Marx and Engels would be disappointed in your attitude Felis.

The easy solution would be to stop posting snubbing, insulting, or harsh-toned comments, and begin acting at least a little civil and considerate. It's okay to tell someone that their deck is poorly built, but there's no need to make them feel like dirt over it.
You can argue over whether or not people should expect hostility because 'it's the internet', but remember that said hostility is not only uneccesary, but exists solely because we allow it to.
I'm not going to tell anyone what they should do or anything, this is just my opinion on the matter.

No, the easy solution would be to completely ignore your post and keep doing what I've been doing.

If trolls set their victims to ignore they'd have no one to interact with.

I didn't mean "ignore" as in the forum option, I meant "ignore" as in "not care".
