The reason it's not a bear is because red doesn't get bears.
Not yet, anyway.
Ash Zealot is RR, which is what wotc deems appropriate for making absurd power leaps.

Fun fact: No set before RtR had a 2/1 haste for RR, and RtR has two strictly better cards: Rakdos Shred-Freak  and Ash Zealot  . Also, did you intend to have Uthden Troll trigger when your spell is countered because of no legal targets? What about if you counter your own spells, such as by playing Flutterstorm  with copies targetting other copies? Some rewording may be in order.

I didn't think that was considered "countered", but reading up on the rules, apparently it is. Yes, you're supposed to be able to abuse your own stuff. Well, I thought at least 2/3's of that was what I was good at.
But it's probably because I'm designing top down.
Edit: I personally think the last two are fairly interesting though, and the kind of cards I like to build decks around.

More unexciting + printable cards!  What happens when you cast something like Gaze Of Justice  ? The interaction between cards that exile and "unearth" triggers was pretty strange, remember?
