The "cam girl" this was inspired by was just a girl from a social networking website, Stickam. Her name was TinyTerror and she was just a regular girl who was on her webcam, totally unrelated to any type of adult content.

I hope you all feel really smart now.

This is like someone coming into class with a bloody nose and everyone's like "Jeez what happened to you" and they're like "I ran into a wall" and everyone laughs at them for being an idiot but then at the end of the class they say "HAHA JUST KIDDING I PUNCHED MYSELF IN THE FACE!!!!!! TALK ABOUT OWNED HAHAHAHAHA"

Then he closes his Macbook, so his servant may move it out of the way, while another servant puts a Fetal Richard Garfield Clone lathered in Steak Sauce in front of him. Then Mark Feasts.

Sorin walked into the chamber where his newly wed bride, Vampy, awaited. A beam of moonlight illuminated his brilliant silver hair as he strode with confidence towards the bed. His shirtless body showcased his powerful abdominal muscles and he was wearing jeans with holes in the knees.

Daytime_Lantern submitted a worthy entry.

Although, I think stretching out to that extra colorless mana in the mana cost was an inexperienced move.

My submission was 100% serious.

And mine is at least, like, two thirds.

notes = I was really excited to see new Gideon Jura planeswalker designs; am admittedly kinda bummed so few people were interested in the same -- note that the criteria specifies a planeswalker card; creatures, etc don't meet criteria

Mown = Gideon's Tomb = functions as a "Destroy target Gideon Jura " by function of the planeswalker uniqueness rule; and black is certainly the color that would go into -- is interesting; but is crazy narrow -- add a and kill any planeswalker with Dreadbore

Lobster667 = Gideon, Survivor = repeating the middle ability (which, granted, was always more black than white) is fairly anticlimactic -- flavor concept that he's been blackened by the fight, corrupted, and barely himself is nice -- the +1 is fairly boring, though

Cisnero = Gideon, the Enslaved = it's actually a really nifty idea -- a planeswalker who's sole purpose is to help other planeswalkers -- and flavor of being overtaken completely by bolas is solid -- my only real issue is the ultimate; that's really really strong; throw 12 loyalty counters onto any planeswalker.. and then activate their ultimate that same turn (could even be you only just played them) and they still survive with a big excess of loyalty to protect themselves -- it is narrowed, in that he only combos with other planeswalkers.. but all 3 of his abilities combo with any planeswalker SO well, that I think it's a bit too strong

TPmanW = Dragonslayer Coalition = it's only 234 words; so you're good on that front -- I don't like the idea of a planeswalker with multiple sub-types in the slightest; I think it's a very bad idea and hope they never do it -- the +2 is just plain Ajani's Lightning Helix ability; and since Ajani isn't even in your list of subtypes.. -- thanks for going with a story (although it's more Tezzert takes on the dragon than Gideon), but the card design just isn't viable

theScion = Gideon, Stained with Cowardice = I like the effort; but that design is just red -- the only thing kinda white is the last ability's similarities to the original Gideon's ultimate -- double damage is red; power buff and inability to block is red (and a little black); and a 9/1 trampler for a turn is crazy red -- you didn't get any white in there.. also, how is red cowardly? red is brash and over-confident

GM_Champion = Gideon Descended = interesting that he's largely bolas colors, just switching W for U.. -- starting loyalty 4 for a potentially free (as in no mana) PW is interesting.. and I'd call the trade off of losing legendary cards rough if they didn't also ensure your guy is actually entering as a minimum 6 starting loyalty (and potentially a lot more if you're playing a mono white deck (which this guy totally can)) -- the wording on the last ability is confusing.. the "another" is there so that he can't kill himself?  if you choose planeswalker, you can just remove 1 loyalty and kill a Bolas with no cost to yourself? -- I really appreciate the enthusiasm, but I don't think this design was planned out well enough

felisdomesticus = Gideon the Mindslave = pretty strong; but I'd call it ultimately fair -- but it's not Gideon in any way; it's just a red-less Bolas minion -- need at least some connection to Gideon himself -- I like the mechanics design; just don't like the submission for this context

Fenix = Gideon, He Who Lost His Spark = disqualified; not a planeswalker card; and rules break

onedayweek = Gideon, Savior = the +2 is a more controllable version of his first +2; the -3 is fairly purely red.. but the limitation that you can only steal a tapped creature would be very frustrating (even with the combo of the first ability; you want to force something to attack him so you can kill it with blockers; but you can't kill it if you want to steal it, which means you'll have to let it through and kill your Gideon) -- that's an obscenely powerful ultimate; and it doesn't feel particularly white, red, or white/red

DaytimeLantern = Gideon, Tempered = that is pretty super strong; the +1 is Sorin Markov 's +2, but you also get a card out of it -- the second ability is Dominus of Fealty on a stick -- and the ultimate's emblem is such a total "my creatures rock now" that -6, when you start with 4, and getting more is massive upside.. -- I'm not comfortable with this power level -- even with the three colors, it's still cmc 4; and that's amazingly strong -- your story is very good, but does of course break with he contest criteria

an_endless_epidemic = Gideon, Boros General = the +2 runs the risk of you not controlling 2 creatures; if it were "up to" you could get loyalty without the risk.. but it is such a strong ability, not sure if you did it on purpose to try to balance -- the ultimate is too reminiscent of Ajani Vengeant ; I really don't think wee need another w/r planeswalker that removes all of an opponent's lands -- nice story

You've misinterpreted the last ability.  You would pay the 6 before the ultimate would resolve.  Thus, if Gideon began with 6 loyalty counters before activating the ability, the ultimate would only give 6 counters to another planeswalker, because the 6 which were spent to use the ultimate would not be on Gideon at the time the ability checks the amount of counters on him.

Sometimes I imagine what Cisnero's life must be like. I imagine cargo pants - every pocket stuffed with coins. I imagine him (I almost said "him or her" but then I decided his gender with through the randomization of a small metal disk) - I imagine him, shopping, purchasing food, choosing which spot to park in, all through this meticulous flipping process. I imagine him asking a girl out, taking her to have a drink or whatever and then asking if she wants to play this fun game. When she responds "Sure." he removes a single quarter from one of his jingling pockets. Then proceeds to flip it repeatedly while she calls it - until she is able to make up an excuse to leave. Will he respond to this post? Only if the Chaotic Gods of Copper and Nickel deem it so. Someday many years from now, in the Dystopian future world, I'll ride my Billy Idol Unicycle past a bedraggled slumbub - He'll be clad in armor made all of the (now worthless) coins of yesterdecade. He'll grin a shiny grin at me as he flips another coin - and I'll know who it was. How could I not?

true
that was a stupid mistake on my part
sorry
but, that is still a huge boost of loyalty to another planeswalker -- search out a Nicol Bolas; play him; and get an ultimate that turn, and he survives it.. still intense
