With all the cool and interesting Ideas I've seen(and posted) on here lately, it feels like the simplest point has if not been forgotten then at least not been the main focus, BEAT THE OTHER PLAYER FIRST. So I thought I'd make this thread for people to post their Fastest kill decks(either by dealling 20 damage, ramping to drop massive creatures very early, droping an army of 1/1's, fast milling, ETC.) for others to see and/or suggest improvements for. I'll repost my Darkfire deck for now as I think it's currently my fastest, but I'd love to see what other peoples are. 4 x Bump in the night 4 x Lightning bolt 4 x Lava spike 4 x Rift bolt 4 x Soulcage Fiend 4 x Keldon Marauders 4 x Wall of Souls 4 x Sign in Blood 4 x Wild Guess 4 x Browbeat 6 x Swamp 10 x Mountain 4 x Tainted Peak

The deck I'm working on to take with me to my next FNM is capable of a turn 3 win, although I doubt I'll ever see it happen: Turn 1: Avacyn's Pilgrim Turn 2: Fencing Ace , Ethereal Armor Turn 3: Etheral Armor , Ethereal Armor , Ethereal Armor , Rancor , swing for 23 double strike Of course I would probably never try this. Don't want to get 6-for-1'd.

This is one of mine. It's another semi luck-of-the-draw deck, but it can survive pretty well if the draw is not so lucky. It's all about Rime Transfusion on an Abyssal Persecutor , which usually renders it unblockable (who plays snow creatures anymore?), 2 swings with it, and then Rite of Consumption -ing it FTW. 4 x Abyssal Persecutor 3 x Typhoid Rats 3 x Vampire Nighthawk 4 x Dark Ritual 3 x Rite of Consumption 4 x Go For the Throat 4 x Murder 4 x Turn Aside 3 x Negate 1 x Demonic Tutor 4 x Rime Transfusion 4 x Underground Sea 3 x Drowned Catacomb 3 x Watery Grave 4 x Frost Marsh 9 x Snow-covered Swamp Elegant simplicity. It still works.

I'm playing around with a port of All in Red for Modern. Basically I aim for: Turn 1: Trinisphere Turn 2: Deus of Calamity I opt to be on the draw by default, but if they have me take the play, I can effectievly lock them out of the game permanently. For added disruption I run Magus of the Moon , and I have Stone Rain / Molten Rain in the SB for mono-colored decks. If I keep them off 3 lands, I've locked them out of the game, and as long as I have a creature to swing with, I will win. Most of the time it's a turn 3 scoop. Modern may be the best place for it because I don't have to worry about Force of Will comming in to stop my Sphere. I just have to worry about Spell Pierce . But I can work around that.
