From my resent testing this deck has been very solid. the main deck devil's play is pretty much a must, its a double kill spell and a win con on its own. also i have a one of Sands of delirium, and let me tell you how amazing this is. Against control it is a house just hold removal back up for their one or two big threats, mill them at end step and win. I think the best i have done is cracked liliana and tapped for 40 mill on it.
I have tested this against american as well as jund, seems to do pretty well as they don't swarm your board really. i have found that tribute is one of the best removal in this deck. the ability to catch up on life really helps, mutilate is gold against these hexproof and the regenerate guys as well as the smal weenie decks.
Overall i really enjoy this deck and it's ability to deal with most anything it comes against.
Also main deck slaughter games is too good, that moment when you have named, sphinx's rev, thragtusk agasinst a bant deck is too good when they are left with a bunch of durdle cards .

Jman, hold off on trolling the thread until Gatecrash is fully spoiled.

If you were serious that deck is actually just terrible. The only thing you did right was the manabase and lili 3.0 and mutilate. Everything else is wonk numbers and card choices.

The idea was serious, the deck wasn't. I'm still certain that WotC is wanting black control players to do that sort of thing (play a lot of colors with mutilate)
We also don't need to see too much of GTC to know what we want in the deck. Is it good? Yes. Can we splash it in a heavy black mana base? Yes. Then we want the card.
Sorin, Thragtusk, Garruk Relentless, and Dreadbore all fit that category. Beyond those 4, the rest was a joke/pipe dream (seriously, 12 sweepers would be SO awesome. So would running all the X spells in the format, but I forgot to put in Sphinx's Revelations)
Also, the combo with Descent into Madness and that new Boros enchantment seems like it would be a lot of fun if you can not-die before turn 7 while playing bad, expensive cards
Really, you act like I ever do anything other than throw out half baked ideas and expect you guys to do the rest.

This makes what I did infinitely less funny.

Are Crypt Ghast and the Extort mechanic relevant in this archetype?

No.

Also, this archetype should be tabled until the meta settles back down.

Once decks start getting in-bred again Slaughter Games control will be a thing to play.

Be careful with your slaughter games... higher chance to brick in unknown meta.

Otherwise... let us know how it went.

I was just gonna try cramming Olivia and some Rakdos Keyrune into a deck and calling it a day. In fact, though, someone in some thread posted some list proposed by Flores in a premium article but I can't find the thread/post now. It had a set LiliDark which I don't have so I was gonna ignore that, but I was looking more a chassis to modify.

Edit: It was BR, had a Rakdos's Return, I think Staff of Nin too?

I suggest modifying my chassis. Staff of Nin and Rakdos Return might be sideboard cards in a super aggro meta... I'd go hard on controlling creatures if I were to run this at an FNM.

return could still be a 1 of maindeck, but i have to think the staff is nice for being able to keep up late game with aggro deck topdecks.

also, my version with the nighthawks and such might be a good move now.
Blue is the best color ever.  How do you deal?
