A player has Heartless Summoning  , and Flayer of the Hatebound  on the battlefield. 1) That player casts Butcher Ghoul  and it dies due to Heartless Summoning . 2) Undying triggers and the player nominates a target for Flayer of the Hatebound 's ETB trigger. Does Butcher Ghoul deal 2 or 1 (-1/-1 from Heartless Summoning ) damage to the target?

it re-enters the battlefield as a 1/1, so Flayer of the Hatebound 's trigger deals 1 damage of course you are welcome to use Giant Growth  or even Auger Spree  to buff that damage
