I've always played where if a token dies it's exiled.  I read recently though that technically tokens go to the graveyard and are THEN exiled.

For example;  I have Kokusho, the Evening Star in play, and I cast a kicked Rite of Replication bringing in 5 tokens of him.  Due to Legendary rule, they all die.  Would all 5 tokens activate his ability?

All the tokens are Kokusho, so they all trigger when they hit the yard, so the 5 tokens plus the card itself would go off for a serious amount of ownage.

Yes, this works.  A kicked Rite of Replication puts five copies of Kokusho, the Evening Star onto the battlefield.  All six of them die.  This is because there are two or more legendary permanents all with the same name on the battlefield.  All of them trigger.

An activated ability has the form of COST: EFFECT.

The token creatures do die and then they cease to exist.  They are not moved to the exile zone after they are in your graveyard.  They just disappear from the game.

_Magic: The Gathering_ Comprehensive Rules

These rules are effective as of October 1, 2012.

704.5d If a token is phased out, or is in a zone other than the battlefield, it ceases to exist.

Unfortunately, VCLs do not currently have the tools necessary to take moderation actions directly. VCLs submit their actions to ORCs, who then actually perform the action. This processing can take between a few minutes and several hours, depending on how busy/attentive the ORCs are.

If you see something that needs VCL attention, please use this thread (MTGO) or this thread (paper) to make a request and a VCL will look at it as soon as possible.  CoC violations should be reported to Customer Service using the "report post" button. Please do not disrupt the thread by making requests of either kind in-thread.

I was pretty sure this would work I just wanted to know for sure before I tried to pull it off.

@Pontiac; yeah it's going to be an alternative win condition for a deck I'm building; specifically for multi-player.  It won't go off all the time but when it does it will be an epic win.
I'll keep in mind for the futrue to post question like this in this section.

Thanks all.
