Okay, to explain: Inktomi: I was going for a trickster. Spiders are often a motif of tricksters; look at morph and House Dimir. But I wanted a more playful trickster, so   . I chose the particular downside out of Draco  phobia (I'd originally set it up to do damage to "target creature or player".), and because tricksters often trick themselves. The Reborn: Yeah, it's a green ability typical of phoenices. Lust: I was going for a creature being totally overcome with emotion. Since Bloodcrazed Neonate  has the downside of attacking each turn, and neophyte vampires in a lusty red reward you for attacking, it kind of fit.
