Thats where I started at, but its a bit long, and reminds me too much of "Enter the Dragon"
I don't see how either or those things are a problem.
Also, Infinite Science would be a good name.

Enter the Infinite will be an Increasing Ambition target in Omniscience control.
None of them are a wincon. What will that be in such deck? Just curious
After I drew my deck, I'd play Temporal Mastery. I'd untap, draw, and end my turn. I'd pass and discard. On their upkeep, I'd play Psychic Spiral with heavy counter backup.

Ability reveals from WotC for x-mas:
Evolve- Simic, Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control, if that creature has greater power or toughness than this creature, put a +1/+1 counter on this creature.
Battalion- Boros, seems to be a trigger for when the creature + 2 others attack.
Bloodrush - Gruul, pay a cost and discard the card to get an effect. Possibly only attacking creatures for all of them. Similar to Channel from Kamigawa block.
Evolve seems like its a limited fodder ability, will be cute to draft it with Scavenge when Dragon's Maze releases (Fathommage seems nice for Cube though at first glance). Firemane Avenger is pretty nice- I like my 3/3 fliers to have Lightning Helix on a stick. Bloodrush has me excited for Ghoultree and Splinterfright again.

And now Extort - Orzhov. Whenever you cast a spell you may pay  , if you do each opponent loses 1 life and you gain that much life. Seems like pretty boring mechanics from what I've seen. Bloodrush is the only one I'm liking so far.

At first I thought Extort dealt damage based on how you paid to cast the spell, then I realized it was just another 1 mana to drain life 1. Which is kinda crap outside of limited. It'll be okay if there's a 1-drop AND a 2-drop that are decent bodies with the ability, or an Extort X (or any Extort beyond 1 on low CMC cards) but I don't think that Extort is more than a 1 for 1 thing from the way I read it.

Dimir has cipher, which is basically haunt for instants/sorceries, only you can only haunt your guys, and you recast the spell when you hit your opponents, not when the creature dies.

Cipher has some serious potential to be really, REALLY good. The real question is how many of the Instants/Sorceries with Cipher on them are going to actually be worth playing for their effects. As was mentioned by someone in the ICD thread for the one Cipher card we have spoiled, its likely that most of the Cipher cards will be ones with effects that cant be abused when cast multiple times over and over again. I think the example he used was "look at your opponents hand" which is probably something that is going to exist (both because it is something that isn't easily abusable when cast repeatedly, and also because its perfectly spot on for Dimir's flavor).
Like I said there, just waiting for a card with "Instants and Sorceries you control have Cipher" to come along and break the game.
