Yes there are a lot of bad builds in this thread, probably why many people can't seem to win. It makes me lol to see people running Barony Vampire over Neurok Invisimancer or Phantom Warrior . That card should be not be run under any circumstances. And yes, there is a huge difference between the vampire and Walking Corpse . Walking Corpse is actually a pretty decent vanilla black creature for it's cost. Also it's flatout confusing that people wouldn't be using Mask of Riddles . Did you even test to see how well it works? This has been one of the better cards for me in this deck. Maybe people don't read the card closely enough and see that it gives your creature Fear, which makes it quite good.

I like this deck a lot because it's challenging and very different from a standard aggro or control deck - and I'm winning with it more than I'm losing (but does that mean anything? I went 4-2 today but 2 of my wins were against pretty bad opponents even though it was xbox ranked and my 2 losses were against turn 2/turn 3 hexproof creatures that quickly grew with enchantments for which this deck has no answer. Maybe winning percentages mean something over 100s of games but there is so much variance in decks and opponents that I'm not sure the percentages reported here indicate much either way).
But even though I like the deck, I don't think I can avoid the conclusion that this is the weakest deck in 2013, by an extremely large margin. I used to think that nothing could be worse in 1v1 than DP, but DP has a number of good matchups in addition to its horrible ones - and the fact that it's great against MM is a very large plus, given how popular MM appears to be.
RG has many flaws: --its main strength, supposedly draw/discard, is very vulnerable to disruption --the discard part of this deck isn't very relevant against decks that have even a little draw power, because the discard is slow and unreliable. GM is a far better discard deck even though it doesn't have that many discard cards. --it has no way of dealing with enchantments or artifacts except for Extract, which is pretty unreliable and bad --hexproof ends this deck completely. If you're playing Aura Servants and on turn 2 they play an Invisible Stalker, the game is effectively over: a turn 2 win that will be drawn out for a bit but will still be a win unless the AS player can't find a Plains or enchantments --it has no sweepers --its removal is pretty weak (and much of it is slow and expensive) and if you're facing a deck like PI, SS or MM with a lot of creatures with toughness 5 or higher you can be in trouble. --it is really slow; its main creatures are unblockable weenies that can't be pumped without facing a 2 for 1 situation and a smart opponent will keep mana open if they see the potential for a threat.
I guess the other candidate for worst is Act of War - but Act of War has always run pretty well for me, and even though it shares some of the same weaknesses as RG. And Act of War has three things that RG badly lacks: speed, and sweepers, and one card that can deal with enchantments/artifacts.
Every deck seems to have good and bad matchups. Bad matchups for this deck are: --hexproof --direct damage --big creatures --fast aggro --mill
I am not sure what the good matchups are yet. Maybe CL.
But still, it's fun. It's a lot more fun than MM, which is a bit too easy to play most of the time. The flavor of it is pretty cool. Winning with the worst deck is more fun than winning with one of the best (having said that, Dragon's Roar still sucked in every way and was not remotely fun to win with).

Every time I use this deck I like Grimgrin more and more. I'm right in thinking you can sac all of your creatures before damage to give him a boost to win the game, right? I like how the removal in this deck is tricky to use and requires planning and combos. Also, a new cool combo I found was having both Sangrmancer and Painful Quandry on the field. Makes the choice to discard that much more painful. Also love Ashling . She is a must block or I choose which creature you lose. That is if you don't make her unblockable, 'cause then they have no choice. Considering giving the Mask another go for the great combo here. Have no idea what I would drop to fit it in though. This deck is great. So much fun to build and play. Full of surprises.

Chancellor of the Spires is one of the worst cards in the deck. With only two of them, you are almost never going to get one in your starting hand. If you do get it in your starting hand, it will just sit there. If you get to cast it, it will get burned immediately. - gombl3r CW is NOT how a mono blue deck should work. -Khronikos If anyone in our little group believes in prayer ... we could use all you can give us. My point exactly)

Someone said earlier (some dissapointed person) that rogues have to be fast, so this deck doesn't fit it's name. Rogues have to be cunning)

Mr wriggles, barony vampire does an important job of making your curve smoother. It is a pretty average card but helps keep the pressure on.
Jdub, flight has been great as the draw is almost unconditional
Hakeem, glad to see you are enjoying the deck, interesting you ended up 1 card off me (great minds and all that)

Back in pg53 there's a post by tripp quoting monks defoliation fyi.
Just getting caught up on the thread and almost choked on my pizza laughing as I imagined WOTC bombers dropping Agent Orange on Viet Nam.
