I feel like this deck is pretty fun but too slow and without enough control. It seems like there's a big gap between the small weenies that want to rush and the big heavy costing cards that don't really help them with not much inbetween. Could do with either some counters to stop things hitting the field or more stuff for removing threats so that you're little unblockable guys can get in without much worry, also maybe a few more things to make your guys unblockable because the decks eems kind of weak and unable to defend itself much against the opponent but doesn't ahve enough speed for rushing in if you can't get the right cards. Basically there's a bunch of "do this when you hit" cards but not much to help you get them through and stop the opponent from stopping you from doing that, especially on the cheaper side.

Double Red beats Double Illusions everytime if you were good.
Yeah, and anyone could beat 2013's pre-nerf Jace+Ajani "if they were good". Meaning 90% of the time every deck combination got stomped by Double Jace in 2012.
Do you know why exactly double-decking was not allowed? Well, for one, it's against the 2HG rules. But mainly because double-decks slaughtered EVERYTHING. And the top of the heap was Double Jace.

Sorry for the formatting (or lack there of) and any misspellings, I'm on a phone.
Chancellor of the Spires is one of the worst cards in the deck. With only two of them, you are almost never going to get one in your starting hand. If you do get it in your starting hand, it will just sit there. If you get to cast it, it will get burned immediately. - gombl3r CW is NOT how a mono blue deck should work. -Khronikos If anyone in our little group believes in prayer ... we could use all you can give us. Something about my made up yet easily distinguishable as extremely high percentage statistic displeases you?

Sooo... Followed Footsteps + Laquatus' Champion . Helluva thing...
Had exactly this idea in the same time yesterday) I remember to go to sleep with: "but someone clearly must to suggest it before! it's so obvious!" So I agree, that
It's a lot like Mindstorms was for most where you really have to think a bit outside the box to get the most of your resources.
There are must be more such "obvious" thigs as this paring and usage of Necromantic Thirst on enemy creatures. MS looked like as a complete mess first time (and, according to many comments, still is to many people).
From time to time I wonder - what if some decks are like challenges? There are incorrect cards in challenges to use and some of them look great at first sight. But they are mere decoys really. And - it certainly is a right way to solve any challenge.
So, may be
I guess that's why there's all these unblockables? Still feels wierd.
is a right question to ask) As a matter for contemplation at least)

I'mma start up the game now and try out a "nickel and dime" build that annoys with weenies and wins with Necromantic Thirst and/or Followed Footsteps . It may very likely fail, but maybe I'll learn something along the way. EDIT: Whelp, I failed. This deck hates me. I ould beat Talrand (Revenge Planeswalker), but Garruk and Liliana mercilessly ****stomped me. My crap was just too easy to remove, even for Garruk ( Prey Upon ), and I couldn't find anything I needed. Zero draw, zero discard. I just got mauled over and over. I seriously cannot play this deck more than a few times at a time. It's simply not good enough at what it's trying to do. Playing against decks like Odric or Chandra would be so laughably sad I'm not even going to attempt it.
