Control comes very early for this deck. Agony Warp takes out most four drops, and lets your Moroli swing for 7 in the same turn.

The vast majority of 2 drops are slain by a -3 to their toughness.  Indestructable?  No problem.
Spirit token slays Greiselbrand.

I think he has misread Agony Warp 's power effect as +3/+0.

Or he was inferring that Agony Warp on a blocker let's Moroii swing outisde his weight class?

No because he mentioned a spirit token taking out Griselbrand.

Probably what Hakeem said then. He misread the card as one target gets +3/+0 and another gets +0/-3.

Hey all. I edited the title of this thread from "Dimir Deck Accidentally Spoiled", seeing how the deck list is now officially spoiled, and the thread was already the primary place geared for strategy discussion.

It is good. I don't think there is enough board control though. Yes, the drawing and discarding is great but maybe some cards should have been duplicated to give the deck various builds. Cards like Glimpse the Unthinkable , Nemesis of Reason come to mind, to create an alternative mill option. So many other cards could be good, even some from the Jace deck. Also, I do not like the limited graveyard effects. Memory Plunder is insane, but only one of them? All in all, its a good deck but has a lot of random cards thrown in, i.e. Moroii , Hellcarver Demon , Royal Assassin , Mephidross Vampire . Why no Undermine ? Lots of cards could have been reworked, without making the deck broken in any way..

undermine would of been fantastic. And the other card that cancels target creature or instant (i cant remember which)

The card you're looking for is Countersquall .

I'll mess with the deck when it comes out (and probably come here afterwards to see builds and what works) but I've said before, this current deck pack is my favorite and am glad it's the only 2 decks I want.

Decks I run

Spoiler: Show

I currently run a deck for Standard, Modern, Commander and Legacy.
For standard, I have a typical, horribly budget Rakdos Deck Wins.
For Modern, I have a very lovable mono-green, resistant to removal type of deck.
For Legacy, I'm trying too hard to break Pyromancer Ascension .
For Commander/EDH, I'm running The Mimeoplasm .
A little morals thing about me, I like winning through combos, but not infinitely.

However quiet, I am a Christian, so feel free to tell me you are too, it's always a relief.

Cheers!

Very interested to see how this deck will work out in practice.  Unblockables are nice but only if you are winning the race.  Agony warp is really the most important card in this deck - remove one creature and prevent damage = tempo gain and card advantage.

Are you on Xbox by any chance? Because it seems everyone else is fawning over Mana Mastery and has no interest in this deck whatsoever; I can't wait to play this deck. The only problem I foresee is that I will be playing vs. MM exclusively...
