Made those changes.  Yeah, I forgot about Skullcrack .  What would you board out for it?

Would probably depend on the match up.  Thanks to Recokoner, I think I'd mostly cut the Fires.

But right now, I'm a heavy advocate of Isalnds' list.  I'm hoping to walk away from the Pre-Release with 4 Legion Loyalists, 4 Mugging, and 4 Skullcracks in addition to as many Reckoners as I can get my hands on.

Yeah I forgot about the spotlight.  It also lets you do an Alpha strike if you sack it.  I like the medic just because of his battalion, but both him and the boros reckoner are good cards.  RW has always been my fav color combos.  Back in the earlier days of MTG 1997-1998, I had a kickass RW control deck.  But all the cards that made it good are out of print.    Then leaving the game for like 14 years it was a lot different when my friend got me back into it.  I like the game so much better now.

What guild are playing in the prerelease Anubuss?  My friend and I were testing his dimir deck he proxied up last night against my GW midrange and my RDW, and dimir kinda sucks.

You're talking about his Tibalt build?  I'd like to play it, but really don't want to burn coin on Vexing Devil right now.  I'm not sure the deck would perform as well without him.

At the Prerelease, they're doing a 2HG round on Sat, and Sealed on Sun.  For 2HG, I'm running Boros and She's running Orzhov.  We figure any playable White can be ensured to be ran. And Red/Black look to have all the control elements needed.  Boros Early game, Orzhov late game should get there.

Sunday I'm running Gruul, but for RtR I went Rakdos, and I built a better Bant deck (as well as a Rakdos one to play head games on people) so it's anyones guess how I end up going there.  She's going Dimir.

Simic s the odd guild out, mostly because it looks like it needs more planning to set up the deck, and at Prereleases, not enough planning has been done since no one knows just how effective the other Guilds are.

For Release, one of us may grab Simic, but otherwise we'll stick with what we liked better.

And yeah, Tibalt RDW on 19 lands is surprisingly interesting.  I have the Devils and 3 Tibalts, so building the list is fairly a matter of me getting the new stuff.  Once the meta settles down, I can see how well Tibalt RDW performs and how my more classic brews of RDW perform.  Then I can run what works best.

I think I was the last person to be able to get a boros guild box when I prepaid for the saturday prerelease.  I am gonna suggest a 2HG prerelease to the LGS I play at the most.  I like that idea...

And Zooligan, get you vexing devils now.  If they become playable in standard they are gonna go up.  They are really good in modern, and I have been told they see play in legacy as well.

If you can't find an Orzhov partner, look for a Gruul one to try to dominate the early game.  Batalion can go live in a hurry with 2 Aggro players, and you can Bloodrush any attacking creature.

Devil does see play in Legacy Burn.  I'd say he's worth investing in before he suddenly can find a home in Standard.

I had the chance to use the Boros Charm last night in the prerelease, and it was awesome.  Better than expected.  The indestructible part turned out to  e a nasty little combat trick that helped to wiped my opponents board with some well placed blocks.

I'm trying to decide between 4 different options for RDW and was looking on some opinions on which would be best. The options are:
#1 Islands' list - very low curve, Tibalts, lots of burn
#2 RDW splash white - Basically RDW with Boros Charm and anything else worth splashing for in white.
#3 Traditional RDW - Basically just good stuff like ash zealots, hellriders, Boros Reckoner , other creatures, and burn
#4 Creature Heavy RDW - Lots of little creatures, stuff like Legion Loyalist , Burning Tree-Emissary , Lightning Mauler, Stromkirk Nobles, Ash Zealots, Gore House Chainwalkers, Rakdos Cacklers along with Dynacharge Hellrider or battalion effects to win games quickly.
