Human Frailty
That art always seems odd to me. Like stepping on that skull shouldn't actually break it. I mean, the stepper could be huge, like super fat, or something. But I just imagine a regular person about to have a very awkward stride. Skulls are strong. That's why they're there.
It won't bend or snap, but the joints will break. I'd wager that you'd have to spend a bit more effort than shown here, but it all depends on the skull, really. There's odd stuff going on in that art though, like the mutant nose, the ogre cheeks, and the random tumor in the middle of the jaw

Doomed Traveler Maybe not the art by itself, but the card as a whole. Kind of haunting, and I feel sorry for the dude... What a great card though.

Recent unsettling cards that make me cringe - Screeching Skaab and Thought Scour Just, urggh *shudder* A recent card that always makes me smile is Exquisite Blood , purely for it's resemblance to the old Quinton hoover Krovikan Vampire

Uhuhuh. Screeching Skaab gives me the willies. It freaked me out the first time I saw it, and it really hasn't gotten any better since. Which... I guess means it's doing exactly what it should be doing.

Predator's Rapport When I first saw this, if it would have had a Gruul watermark I would have moved it from being my 4th favorite guild to second in a heartbeat. It reminds me a lot of one of my other favorite magic pictures. Actually from the Web Comic. It was when young Garruk was running from the soldiers in the forest and he met the Baloth and placed his hand on the Baloth's head and using magic to commune with it. That picture always makes me feel so.. in awe.. Rapport does that to me too. It just makes me think on how awesome Green mages are with all creatures of the wilds.

Macabre Waltz The first time I saw it I was simultaneously grossed out and fascinated, like seeing a bad car accident. I rarely play it but I carry it around in my bag and show it to players that haven't seen it. Usually they stare at it in awed silence.

Pithing Needle - Why is that guy just sitting there calmly when they're getting ready to destroy his brain but leave his body alive for... whatever? Gift of Orzhova - IDK, just badass art

Terti beat me to it - damaging the skull itself is pretty hard (in many cases they can actually stop bullets), and the skull in the picture appears to be in pretty good condition, but dislocating a jaw is still relatively easy.
In reality I think the skull would be way more filthy, but it doesn't particularly matter since it's illustrating a concept.
