Instant Completely Destroy Target Thragtusk ( to completely destroy target thragtusk, put it into it's owners graveyard. Then search it's owners graveyard, hand, library, sideboard, trade binder and any other decks it's owner happens to have and remover them from the game and card sleeve. Then tear it up into little pieces and laugh manically while jumping up and down on them. Film the whole process and send it to Wizards R&D and hope they get the point.)
I would have killed, literally ended someones life, to NOT have Arrogant Bloodlord riding a giant ant... Good times: Spoiler:

but where DID the other fork come from? Spoiler:

Lord_Zed: I was at my friends house when this happened. He's married and his wife was an excellent baker. She had baked a homemade apple pie the night before.
I was hungry, and my friend convinced me to try those low carb monster drinks. Before this day, I had never triend energy drinks before.
Boy was I in for a treat.
When I tried that first monster, I really enjoyed the flavor, but the taste that it left in my mouth wasn't so good. What was my solution? Drink another!
before I could finish drinking that 2nd monster, I felt it already kicking in(these drinks were not very far apart, we're talking minutes here) my friend decided that it was a good idea to whip out that fresh pie his wife made the night before. I didn't know what to do, since I felt incredibly invigorated, and at the same time, freaked out by the rush I was feeling, but I was also hungry, and my friend have me an entire plate with a fork and said "help yourself." He extended his saucer to me, and I cut him a piece of the pie and handed it to him, then I looked at the pie, noticed that the pie was in an aluminum holder, and dumped the entire pie onto my plate and started eating it with 2 forks. I don't know where I found that other fork, it probably came from my friend. Anyhow, his wife wasn't happy, and I was already in magical christmas land. 2 days later, I was in my friends bed and I slept for 14 hours.
His wife outlawed my from having any of her baked goods for a while(which sucked because I could just show up at there house, steal some sweets, and leave) and said I couldn't have any energy drinks at her house, unless under close watch.
My friend, on the other hand, had to take me out to a steak dinner, because apparently I won a bet where I climbed a tree and didn't die.
The great land debate: Spoiler:

Zendikar had fetchlands, and Worldwake had manlands. What are the new Scars duals called?
Explosive Peanut Lightning lands. Well, that's just what I call them.
i'm just trying to figure out what the point of saying this is. it's just really random.
And so the pot met the kettle.

Not that Thragtusk is a problem big enough to require laser targeted hate or banlist updates, but if a card would be made against it, I could opt for something like this:
Join the Gruul cause 1RR Instant Counter target creature spell. If that spell gets countered this way, put that creature card on the battlefield under your control. Return it at its owner's hand at the beginning of your next end step.
If Limited gets in the way of printing good Constructed cards...

Despise . Despise, Syncopate, and Snapcaster in the same deck should have a decent matchup against Thragtusk based decks, without being terribly awful against Control. Aggro would still be a rough matchup, but as it is now, Aggro isn't really seeing any play. It would help reset the Rock-Paper-Scissors meta (Tusk-based decks, U/B Tempo or U/B Control, and Aggro)

Wait, I've got it. You want to make Thraggy leave the battlefield, but you don't want it to actually leave.
Phasing. That's the answer.

Or...
Damn hippies Instant Target creature's controller gains life equal to its toughness. That creature can't attack or block. Its activated or triggered abilities can't be played. (This effect doesn't end at the end of turn.)
White removal, isn't dead against other cards, pretty much strictly worse than StP against everything but Thraggy. I could see the specifics concerning how this works with flickering effects and such being a problem, but I'd just make it like an emblem. I.e. it never disappears, no matter what. Not sure about the templating for making triggered abilities not happen, though, there's only three cards in MtG that interact with them and they're all Stifle variants.
Dunno, maybe that's a terrible idea, but making up silly cards is always fun.

They wouldn't print a card like that for a few reasons: 1) Another thing people have to remember without a visual reminder (enchantments can be complicated because the cards stay on the table). 2) Its too similar to Detain 3) I had another reason, but I'm tired and not feeling well and forgot it.

I was just thinking about a way to put Emblems on creatures in order to incapacitate them without having them leave the battlefield.

Emblems are awkward and would be worse on creatures. Hard to keep track of often. Rules would be awkward. Might happen eventually, but unlikely.
Solution is for people to stop whining about thragtusk. It isnt overpowered for the most part. Just drags out games. I'll take a thrag meta over a delver meta ANY day of the week.
