I got a playset of bloodcurdler just for the art (why did i get 4?!).  It's awful.  I've tried to play it so many times, but it's soooo bad.  Beautifl art, though.

Collecting basic lands and staple cards like Counterspell and Disenchant is a bit of an obsession for me. I like to have each different art. I'm not quite ready to sink a lot of money into the Asia-Pacific basic land set, though.

I've been collecting the colorless Eldrazi.  I like the concept behind them, and the full art with the colorless frame looks really good.

I have never bought or traded for a card based on the artwork.

I think the closest thing was picking up a few of the full art zendikar basics which some of the drafters didn't want. I do enjoy having the full art basics over the regular basics but it's not serious enough that I ever bought or traded for them.

Well, the colored Eldrazi only exist to help you get out the colorless ones. And there's so much ramp in M10-ZEN-WWK-ROE that they're hardly necessary.

That said, tron into Skittering Invasion into Hand of Emrakul is lulztastic when it works.

I don't ever plan on making a rainbow deck, but I looooove that card.

Not the autocarded art though, the other one.

This one.

I love the Clint Langley Dark Ritual (planechase)... well I think I love most of his work.
I couldn't believe it one day when I was reading some Marvel comics, then played some magic and saw his name on the bottom of the card.
His Hidden Horror from waetherlight is waaaaay better than the one that made it into the Graveborn deck.

One of my fave cards of all time - just for the art - has to be River of Tears
I'm not the first to say it in this thread, and nor should I be, glad someone else loves a card that suits the frame so well!

Others I'm loving right now are Grave Exchange , Prison Term , Gaea's Liege & Elves of Deep shadow from The Dark (not the modern crappy looking one they replaced it with)

It was also in 5th Edition. I prefer the Tempest printing for its flavor text or the Masques version for the art.

For the art, never. I did however buy a fistful of Goblin Battle Jester s just because I love the name.

I like Brainstorm (The other versions with the "Sapprizian Vizer" and the "archmage"

I love (and traded for) RoE Islands with the Hedrons on them, I would love to see those full-art.
Decks I run

Spoiler: Show

I currently run a deck for Standard, Modern, Commander and Legacy.
For standard, I have a typical, horribly budget Rakdos Deck Wins.
For Modern, I have a very lovable mono-green, resistant to removal type of deck.
For Legacy, I'm trying too hard to break Pyromancer Ascension .
For Commander/EDH, I'm running The Mimeoplasm .
A little morals thing about me, I like winning through combos, but not infinitely.

However quiet, I am a Christian, so feel free to tell me you are too, it's always a relief.

Cheers!
